- Tommy599Two Rivers, WI904 contributionsOn a Grand Circle River boat cruse to the Black sea.
Walked across the bridge next to our boat and climbed into a 1692 Hasburg fortification / citadel / protective for the city = A keep) for towns people to retreat to during an invasion way back then. The Keep was built on a old the Roman fortification that once existed at this point and the city laid out below it.
There is no Arment (cannons) remaining at the fort (all a long time ago recycled into scrap), but there are a massive number of underground passageways.Written November 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are a lot of historical buildings around beside the famous Mary Church and statue of Svetozar Miletic. All the cultural events including Christmas market take place here. It was very easy to move around here because it was a pedestrian zone.Written September 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Larisa ZPancevo, Serbia3 contributionsIf you are in Novi Sad, this adventure is something you must try.
Amazing experience. You dive into the past with the possibility to encounter some creatures lurking from the shadows 🐜or hanging from the ceilings 🦇. Don't be afraid, they are domesticated 😉
The guides are great, completely there for you. They organize some games for you so that you can feel as if you are not being led by them but as if searching those long forgotten corridors with your team mates. There is also a competition.

Its almost all serbian food but it can be delicious. Music too loud from all the bars here thats why its 4 star.Written May 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Timo van den BergOvertornea, Sweden868 contributionsFruška Gora National Park offers a tranquil retreat into nature, where commercialism hasn't touched the landscape. The park is minimally developed, with a single road cutting through it, making it an ideal spot for those looking to disconnect and enjoy some peace and quiet. There are some abandoned buildings within the park, left open and accessible, which might be intriguing for Urban Explorers (urbex enthusiasts). The lack of a visitor center adds to the raw, unpolished experience.
The park's steep hills are manageable even with a small car, although caution is advised. For a day of going off the grid, Fruška Gora is a great choice. One unique feature is the old Lada cars scattered around, bearing the park's logo—an interesting nod to the past. Unfortunately, many of the surrounding buildings are empty and there's quite a bit of litter along the roads, which slightly detracts from the overall experience. Still, if you're in the area and in need of a quiet day in nature, this park is definitely worth a visit.Written August 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was very close to where our river ship had docked on the banks of Danube. It has a lot of small colorful buildings in the entire street. It has got a lot of restaurants, bars, shops, galleries and confectioneries. The ambience is very relaxed here. One can chill around for ours.

It was originally built in 1719. After going through reconstruction many times it was finally built in 1893. It is located right in the middle of town at Liberty Square. Its roof is so tall that it can be seen from distance. It's a Roman Catholic parish church and biggest in Novi Sad. Its neo-gothic arches are worth seeing. The stained glasses depicting saints are very beautiful. The ambience inside is very calm and peaceful.Written July 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BalkrishnaShroffMumbai, India26,909 contributionsDuring the end of our walking tour, we happened to come here before heading back to our cruise ship. It was very nice park with lot of trees and greenery all around. There was also a pond in the center with ducks. There are many busts of famous poets and painters. One can either walk or relax here for hours. The ambience was very soothing. It is at the beginning of famous pedestrian only Dunavski Street which has got a lot cafes, restaurants and shops. Many concerts and performances take place in this park. It is recognized as Protected Natural Resort by Serbia government.Written September 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelerTreckerHouston827 contributionsI love this tour! I only have one day to visit Fruska Gora. Fruska Gora is very close to Novi Sad and not too far from Belgrade. You can hike or walk but it will take long time to reach the monasteries and you may see only 2 or 3. By bus is difficult. The best way to visit the monasteries is by car. I rented a car. All monasteries are reached through very good roads and the Waze app will guide you. If Waze takes you to a primitive road then stop and restart you search and look for a paved road. The monasteries are 10 to 30 minutes apart by car from each other. All of them offer free parking and there is no entrance fee. All monasteries have central churches and they are the main reason for the visit.
I visited 8 monasteries following their geographical order as follows:
1. Krusedol (starting monastery)
2. Grgeteg
3. Novo Hopovo
4. Staro Hopovo
5. Vrdnik
6. Jazak
7. Mala Strana
8. Rakovac (last monastery)
All are open, beautiful, and some have been recently restored. All are impressive; I really like Grgeteg and Jazak followed by Novo Hopovo, Staro Hopovo, Krusedol, Vrdnik, Rakovac, and Mala Strana.
The monasteries have preserved the Serbian culture through religion. Some have souvenir shops that sell very nice and cheap religious memorabilia.
This is a trip to ideally do in a sunny day. However, Fruska Gora is a rainy forest. I visited the monasteries in a rainy day. I enjoyed it. Just have an umbrella handy.Written June 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was made in the memory of those innocent Serbs, Jews and Gypsies who were killed by Hungarian army during World Ward II. More than 3000 people died and many were thrown in the river. This beautiful statue is very emotive and it expresses the feelings of families. Worth seeing.Written September 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Situated in an ideal places for photos and next to a railing that it's filled with padlocks from people. Nearby there's also a cafe at where you can refresh yourself after walking all the way up.Written August 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
