On another house, a really old lady who could not speak Polish but could understand so my girlfriend was able to translate a bit.

... a climb to see that spectacular view of the entire city.Quite a climb but once you get there you can admire view of the churches and town hall.Going round you can see all sides of the city, not only the old town.
The best FREE view of Lviv, its a bit of a walk, so best to take your time with the 300 steps between levels, yes there are several levels, but it can be done.

The self guided tour had some good displays on history of beer and also specifically Lviv brewery...the tasting is reasonably priced for four beers on tap...good explanations in English...worth a stop if you love...
After a pleasant and interesting stroll, we enjoyed the degustation collections at about £1.70 for 4 x 125ml beers (hubbie tried both!) and kids loved the pear-ade, crisps and free wifi.

I'd recommend English-speaking visitors to call ahead to the museum and book an English-language tour of the ground floor: it is free and is really helpful.
Finally, although a huge amount of the building is on Bandera street the actual entrance is on Karl Bruillov street The museum is moving, disturbing and absolutely essential.
