What travelers are saying
- Jake CGreater Manchester, UK82 contributionsThe Rynok Square at the heart of Lviv is full of character, with well kept buildings and cobbles and independent shops, bars and cafes on every street corner that really bring the square to life.
The local people also showcase their creativity in a way that makes Lviv a really attractive place to visit. Concerts on the square in the evening are a great example of how locals foster a sense of solidarity within the square.Written May 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jake CGreater Manchester, UK82 contributionsTo the left of the cemetery, before you enter the main gates, there is row after row of graves for all of the soldiers lost during the war. We witnessed mourners of all ages, grieving for lost sons, husbands, fathers. It was one of the most moving experiences of my life and brought me very close to tears.
The actual cemetery itself is in some respects more like a public park. There are many graves, including of religious figures, but the actual site is very walkable and there are some interesting monuments to see throughout the site.Written May 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There was no dialogue so it was easy to enjoy as English speakers since everything was conveyed musically or through movement. The opera itself it stunning and they even gave out masquerade masks to visitors and shot confetti. A very unique experience!Written January 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- hanna718NOVA548 contributionsSomething like 350 steps (not including the walk to the 4th floor where the entrance to the tower is) on a sometimes narrow wooden staircase. Great views of Lviv once you get to the top, though kids may have a hard time seeing over the top of the wall. Beware the bell chiming every quarter hour, but be sure not to miss the view of the clock workings on the way up/down. 50 uah, seems open every day. I imagine it can get busy, even on a Sunday morning there was a school group.Written December 27, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ivica SPrague, Czech Republic148 contributionsThis is a unique museum under the open skies, presenting the ancient architecture of the whole of Ukraine in one place. It is an ideal place to see in one place how people were living and what their homes, churches, and workshops looked like.

Old Gentleman's club, now a museum, with a long history, is one of the places in Lviv worth visiting.
You would not be sorry visiting this wooden decorated building. Take your chance to visit.
