It was built by Roman Catholics, it was a Roman Catholic Church for a long time, but now it is a Greek Catholic Church, with new ukrainian language signs inside.

I believe this is the only Russian church we could find, not sure of the names since I cannot read the signs. We were looking for a Russian church for my friend who wanted me to purchase an icon for her tough times. We found this one just outside of the town and went into the shop and got our icon and went on our way. No English was spoken and being American, they didn't even atempt.

Stunning place that was holding a service (in english) when we visited. Nice to see the usher was keeping people in line at the back - in a quiet way - so not to disturb.

A very beautiful place of worship which had the advantage of having a rehearsal for a children's choir happening when we visited. There was some audio feedback but otherwise it was a vibrant and glorious building with sounds to match and a sense of still being alive.

Former Romam Catholic Church now used by Greek Catholic Studite monks. I attended services here on Christmas when I was in Lviv and really liked church interior, chants and service. Lvivians seem to come here often to say a prayer or light a candle. Nearby at monastery countryard there is shop where you can buy icons, candles, incense and souvenirs.

Apparently it’s because of vandalism, where people have stolen religious objects. How sad! You can only peak into glass windows to see the magnificence inside.

Its claim to fame is being the oldest Orthodox church in the city of Lviv. Today it is under the Archdiocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyivan Patriarchate. The interior is modest.

This is very Popular Roman Catholic Church in Lvov. Very beautiful interior, with lovely sculptures and ornaments. Main entrance to the Church is curently under renovation, so the entrance to the Church these days is in the yard, from the right side of the building.
