I've seen this place only once, and this was 20 years ago. I don't really remember that visit. This is the first time I came here in my adult life and took the place in.
It's amazing a structure like this ever existed and is still standing.
I don't know if I'd categorize this as an amphitheater as there's an amphitheater few minutes walking that is definitely an amphitheater, but the arena is definitely something to behold. There's even a basement exhibit showing off the olive oil production and various amphorae they used that were dug up, and the gift shop has an amazing selection as well. If you're in Pula this is a must-see.

Beautiful temple, but a very brief visit is all that's necessary to cover the exhibit. Recommend a quick stop if you have the time!

This was an amazing afternoon and the highlight of our stay in Pula. We tried 8 wines and were provided a light platter each with food that paired exceptionally well with each wine.
Our host, Katarina, was exceptional - she explained each wine and why it went well with particular foods and also took on all our questions.
The venue is very pretty - we were sat outside with a table set up for each group (so it's nice and intimate) and flowers near the fence. They had a good selection of music playing in the background too.
We also went downstairs to see the basement where they keep the wines and also saw where they make the wine on ground level.
This is a must for couples, and also groups of friends.
We ended up buying a bottle of wine and a bottle of brandy at the end because they were so nice!
Only wish that we went during season (i.e. summer) so that we could have a meal there afterwards.

It was a bit hard to find a parking spot. We needed to walk 10 minutes from a parkingspot to the aquarium. The route in the park towards the building is also quite long and uphill.

The aquarium itself looked very nice. The water was very clear and the animals looked good taken care off.
The building contained 2 levels, a roof and a basement, so it was pretty big for the entree price.

The only minus point is, there was 0 handicap innovations. There was a rollchair elevator, but it was broken (apperently it is for a long time).

We had a pleasant hour learning about the history of olive oil. Nicely laid out museum with very helpful staff and a good shop. We didn’t do the tasting but that looked good too. Haven’t given it 5 stars as at the end of day it’s about olive oil.

Very easy to find. I walked past it several times without looking for it.
Really stands out in the middle.

We decided to visit as we had a couple of hours before going to the airport.

We entered via the tunnels on the lower level, the tunnels are very long with pictures and information on the tram in the city and why the tunnels were formed. The best part of the tunnels is the amazing coolness which is a welcome break from the heat outside.

The next level is short and there is information on the war effort/prison.

The top level gives access to the city view, amphitheater and harbour.

The top can be accessed for free if you wish to walk up to the top. Otherwise for the fee of entering the museum (40 kunas) there is a lift.

We turned up at Trapan on a hot Saturday afternoon all pretty hungover. The welcoming committee who greeted us at the carpark was amazing! About 10 different dogs ran out to greet us and then escorted us to our table.

The owners of the winery are a really lovely couple, the wife is in charge and Bruno, the husband looked after is mainly.

We had sharer boards of cured meat, cheese and fish. All delicious! As we ate we tried two white wines, an orange and three reds.

The first and second whites were my favourite, all the grapes are grown locally on vineyards owned by the couple, Bruno's is 7 hectares and his wife's 11.

All of the wines were great, one was a blend named for the couple's twin daughters.

In addition to the pack of excellent dogs, they also have Arianna Grande and excellent fat pig, a couple of goats and a chicken.

Basically this place is amazing, amazing wine, amazing food, amazing animals and excellent service.

I would highly recommend this place, it's a must for anyone who visits Pula.

Very nice waterfall with limestone pools of emerald-greenish water. Stopped here for 30 mins and then moved on. The place is small and is very crowded with tourists.

Pula's Communal Palace is situated at the North - East end of Forum Square (Trg Forum), next to Temple of Augustus. Actually, Town Hall was built on the very site of Temple of Diana, which was used as a rudimentary town hall since 9th century. Its northern wall was incorporated into new communal building, and still can be visible. Construction of new City Palace that began in second half of 13th century and was probably finished in year 1295. Since its completion town hall undergone few changes. The main ones took a place at the end of the 15th century when building has been rebuilt in Renaissance style (when characteristic arcades were added), and then in 17th century, that's when Baroque windows were added. At some point of all these renovations town hall acquired an attic and clock ( in 19th century?); as they can still be visible on some old post cards and photographs; but these two elements weren't preserved, and what we can see now is simple, yet, harmonious facade. Town Hall is very easy to find. It's right beyond Newlywed Park (Park mladenaca), between Flaciusova Street and Forum Square. Next to the same square can be found Tourist Office, cafe, restaurant and accommodations. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't very busy place.

Beautiful, hidden gem. Good place for snorkerling, jumping off cliffs or just having a blast in the sun. Would not recommend bringing a bike, maybe it works better for you if you're more patient than me.
