- Gatis LSplit, Croatia7 contributionsOur speed boat tour was amaizing. We had the best boat crew, two skilled and entertaining captain girls Mary and Matea. They took us to beutifull pleaces, told great storys and played some good music on the boat. Our little daughter liked them very mutch. This was highlight of our trip to Croatia/Trogir. This was our first time here, but definitely not the last. (in some other tour organizers no one showed special interest...) The tour was well organized and the schedules were not too tight. Our guide Gabriella was kind and professional, sharing information along the way, with a nice and humorous way. The sceneries were great. - Alex A1 contributionThere is a reason there are over a million photos in google. It’s an amazing area, and although you won’t see everything in 4 hours, it is definitely not worth missing. Lovro was entertaining, and people could either explore on their own or stick with the him and learn more in depth about everything youre seeing. A coworker said he visited Croatia and regretted not being able to go to Plitvice, and having been now I know I would regret it too.
Also, it can be cold in September, 14C/55F, so would recommend bringing a jacket/raincoat and/or long pants if you’re susceptible. Or a poncho in case it’s raining. It was easy to book with good instructions on where to get the boat.
As part of the booking, you can provide dietary information, as you will receive lunch whilst aboard. I have Coeliac disease and so require a gluten free diet. Staff were well versed with this and ensured that I was well looked after.
The cruise itself was amazing and lasts all day. Our guide was ‘Nanna’ who is the loveliest person. She is very informative and was smiling throughout. Nothing was too much trouble.
The cruise takes in some of the most amazing scenery, with a 30 minute stop for a swim, before heading onto Hvar where we docked. There Nanna advised us to take a walk up to the fortress, which was well worth the trip. We were then able to stroll the market stalls and have a drink before boarding our boat again for lunch, whilst on route to Brać. Once at Brać there was time to sunbathe, swim and grab a drink before heading back to Split.
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would highly recommend booking with Grayline. The trip was not rushed and the timings were spot on. 3 gorgeous bay's on the 3 islands.
Plenty of swimming for those that wanted.
All inclusive drinks available.
Coffee, croissants, tuna steak (huge) or chicken/veggie options, ice-cream later and watermelon all served up by great hosts.
Would highly recommend.
