this is the only park in Ukraine of this type! Ideal lawns and landscapes in areas of several hectares, with a lake with swans, fountains. Incredible attractions for adults and children! I liked the House of Horrors from the Hollywood Horror House Company. The largest ferris wheel in Ukraine. Tennis courts and football fields with professional coverage! a real paradise for the family!

There's not too much to say about this square besides the fact that it is so big. It's not until you are actually there you realize how big it really is.

I highly recommend anyone in Kharkiv to spend an afternoon watching the show in the Dolphinarium. Intelligent mammals that perform amazing numbers thanks to the young instructors follow them in a loving way. For young and old, don't miss it !!!

I decided to hike and enter this memorial from the back but it was worth it. Sort of hidden in the forest but very nice.

the oldest brick monastery in the Ukrainian Baroque style in Kharkiv (1659) is located near the historic city center. I was told an interesting story about its facade: it turned out that when Kharkiv and all of Slobozhanska Ukraine were under the control of the Russian Empire, St. Petersburg issued an order to restore the monastery in the style of Russian classicism, but Kharkiv residents did not like the idea, these proud and independent people did not want of Russian classicism, they, back in 1689, made the facade of the monastery in a purely Ukrainian style in protest against the order from St. Petersburg "

Decent enough stadium. Good atmosphere and well treated as a visiting fan. A stupid number of body searches (3 in all).

Although there is netting to prevent the exchange of missiles, it doesn't obstruct the view.

Beer was randomly priced between 40-60 per 500ml which is less than £2.

Easy to get to by bus from the airport or taxi (<100 / £3).

With the new early UEFA kick off times (5.55 GMT, 6.55 CET, 7.55 Local) the metro might be an option.

Held back for less than 1 hr after the match so not too bad. There are plenty of hotels nearby, so book a walkable one regardless of whether you intend to go out in the city after the game. Taxi is 100-150 (£3-5) depending on where you want to go.

City won so no complaints @
