- DLPNew Jersey3,945 contributionsShort uphill walk from the Gay Head lighthouse but worth it. The view is absolutely gorgeous. The vibrant color of the cliffs mixed with the soothing sound of the waves crashing below was breathtaking. Could have spent the whole day here admiring this beauty.Written October 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tinylassSheffield, UK6,167 contributionsIt was throwing it down when we visited so we did not see it at it's best although there was no one around so that was good. We had a paddle around and saw some of the cottages in all different colours. Was quiet and barely saw anyone else!Written October 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ladybug106 contributionsEasy access. Big parking lot and short walk to the ocean. Beautiful. Solitude if that’s what you are looking for. Might be crazy in the summer season.Written October 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The museum was closed; but, great photos and new friends made including a young couple where the bride is an alumni of LSU as am I.Written November 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RoadTripToSFONew York City, NY496 contributionsWhat a unique and fun experience! A glorious old carousel with a ring-grab game on the side. I was brought here by a friend and greatly enjoyed it. - N. DavisSan Diego, CA87 contributions**EAT HERE! GO HERE! SHOP HERE! COME HUNGRY HERE!** This place is amazing! First of all, it is adorable and a photo wonderland! We ate at the food truck before going inside. We had the chicken salad sandwich which was so good and packed with chicken. It was not runny and was not over mayonnaised, (not a word but you know what Im talking about). The bread was delicious! We had their strawberry Lemonade and that was average. I was expecting it to be a bit more fruity but it was fine. When we went inside our jaws dropped to the floor. SO MANY YUMMY THINGS TO EAT!!!!!. It's a bakery fantasy world. Good luck not buying one of everything. The Zucchini loaf IS SO DELICIOUS. It was the prefect amount of moist and gooey inside with a little chewy top. The RYE BROWNIE!!!!!!! GET THE RYE BROWNIE. This is single handedly the best brownie I have ever had in my life!!!!!!!! The Oatmeal Cookie!!!! OMG GET THE OATMEAL COOKIE! SO chewy and oaty and sweet but salty and brown sugar delectable!!! We also got the Apple Tart which was not seasoned well enough but the tart dough was delicious!!! The apples just needed some Vanilla extract and some more sugar or honey. The apples were a bit raw also. It was huge tho! The produce was unlike anything I have ever seen. SO many varieties of vegetables, fruits, peppers, squash, and pumpkins. The vast variety of baked goods and breads was mind blowing . They also have a cold case of meats, cheeses, spreads and dips. They have a salad bar and fresh soups. Goodies like popcorn, candy and chips. Muddled Hot Apple Cider smelled so good. They have corn hole, a seating area with picnic tables, Fresh Flowers and plants. This place has everything! I HIGHLY recommend coming here. Their merch is super cute too!!! The staff was helpful and friendly and really appreciative of your business. JUST GO HERE ALREADY!!!!!!!!Written October 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- tinylassSheffield, UK6,167 contributionsSome lovely shops along the road selling a variety of local items as well as clothes and other things. Was raining when we visited so I think we went in every shop and some are pretty much the same as the others but all do have some unique items so it was worth it!Written October 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DLPNew Jersey3,945 contributionsThe Gayhead lighthouse and the Aquinnah cliffs are a short walk from each other. The lighthouse on its own is a beautiful sight, but viewing the lighthouse along with the cliffs is a sight to behold….just gorgeous. You can go in the Gay Head light house but it is closed for the season now. None the less, it is worth your time to see it and take in the views.Written October 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
