If you are a foodie, BOOK THIS TOUR! Sorhay, our beloved guide, took time to learn our preferences, gave us some choices, and made spontaneous decisions when unexpected opportunities presented themselves. The list of foods we sampled at restaurants was long but included a flight of infused warm milk, avocado toast, filled churros to die for, sausage, beans and cheese, rice and beans with hot sauce so good it made the rice and beans dance on my plate, plantains, Panamanian potato salad, vegan ceviche (won’t spoil the surprise), oxtail, pork belly, a rum tasting, and artisan chocolates. We went to a top five restaurant, a cute spot for brunch, local neighborhood restaurants, and a restaurant in one of the poorer sections of town- it was delicious! Also loved the trip to the local farmers market - had fruits I’d never heard of! Best pineapple ever! Must close with a shoutout to Sorhay. Wow. Just wow. Smart, funny, knowledgeable about Panamá, excellent communication and people skills, and clearly loved by the many restaurant owners and vendors. She’s a treasure!

I had a great time on this experience , Ashika was very friendly and a pleasure to be around. The coffee roaster was extremely knowledgeable and I felt like I was stepping into a someone secret coffee testing lab! You could tell he was passionate about coffee and the same goes for the tea room. I learned a lot more about tea than I was expecting to learn . In between the coffee roaster and the tea room Ashika took us to some local Panamanian shops where there were products made by local artists and delicious ice cream. I would highly recommend this tour.

Ana the owner lead our tour. Our tour started at Parque Omar. We enjoyed fresh tropical juice at the park then walked to a Panamanian breakfast. From there we went for coffee and pastries. Then a full lunch at one of San Francisco BarriĂł up and coming restaurants.
