Famous for its historical texture and cobblestone streets, Skadarlija is the heart of Belgrade’s art and entertainment scene. It has inspired many artists, writers and musicians.
Taking a walk in Skadarlija is like taking a nostalgic journey. Colorful cafes, restaurants and streets full of music await you. Moreover, you may also have the chance to taste traditional Serbian cuisine @velika.skadarlija 💃🏼
Street cats in Serbia are an integral part of the city. You are likely to encounter these cute friends in areas like Skadarlija. They are usually fed and cared for by locals, and many restaurants and cafes even provide them with food. In Skadarlija, it is common to see street cats roaming freely and adding color to the environment😻😍

It’s walkable but does have a lot of steps in some parts.

You can buy drinks and snacks on the boat. The scenery was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing and nice. The cruise starts from yachting club Key and it’s in a park so you need some extra time to walk until you find it, because it is in a pedestrian area. The parking is in the right side of the park, there is a bus stop near the park as well.Written October 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Babs WChicago, IL16 contributionsFirst of all, go to Serbia. It is beautiful, interesting, and welcoming. We definitely recommend you book with Serbian Private Tours. We had a fabulous 8 day trip. Everything was well planned, organized, but flexible. Our guide (Andrija) was everything you want - knowledgeable, easy to be with, went out of his way to be sure we were well taken care of, and a great driver which is important in Serbia. We are hoping to go back and will definitely use Serbian Private Tours again.Written June 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul BExeter, UK77 contributionsI did two of these on my first day in Belgrade, and they were a great introduction to this city, in particular its amazingly complex history. The first morning was the Free Downtown Tour, and in the afternoon the Free Zemun Tour. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable, and I would say it pays to do a bit of research before you come so that you don't get overwhelmed with the volume of information.Written August 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
