An absolute must when you visit Belgrade. Massive fortress, big open places and a military museum. Great walking opportunity, great view to Belgrade and river Danube. Recommended to families too

Great street to walk down - lots of shops, restaurants, cafes.
At night there there was a small craft fair which was very nice to wonder through.

Skadarlija is a neighborhood that embodies the bohemian spirit of Belgrade. Famous for its historical texture and cobblestone streets, Skadarlija is the heart of Belgrade’s art and entertainment scene. It has inspired many artists, writers and musicians.

Taking a walk in Skadarlija is like taking a nostalgic journey. Colorful cafes, restaurants and streets full of music await you. Moreover, you may also have the chance to taste traditional Serbian cuisine @velika.skadarlija 💃🏼

Street cats in Serbia are an integral part of the city. You are likely to encounter these cute friends in areas like Skadarlija. They are usually fed and cared for by locals, and many restaurants and cafes even provide them with food. In Skadarlija, it is common to see street cats roaming freely and adding color to the environment😻😍

This area is so worth a visit. I spent hours and hours here and still didn’t see everything. It’s walkable but does have a lot of steps in some parts.
    The structures are incredible.
There are a few places to eat and drink within the fortress and a couple of children’s areas. The zoo looked popular with young families.

I had a great river cruise in Danube and Sava that started at 4 p.m. and lasted for 2 hours. You can buy drinks and snacks on the boat. The scenery was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing and nice. The cruise starts from yachting club Key and it’s in a park so you need some extra time to walk until you find it, because it is in a pedestrian area. The parking is in the right side of the park, there is a bus stop near the park as well.

One of the famous tourist highlights of Zemun. Worth coming to enjoy the views and see some architecture typical for this particular part of Belgrade.

Nice murals on notable chandeliers made it ammunition make this church worth a visit. It's very near to the other prominent castle church so you can visit them both in succession.

Sava is the river with the majority of central water floating cafes and clubs. There is a modern waterfront, clean and well maintained. Good for walks.

The tours with Milan were extrodinarely interesting. He has huge and very broad knowledge about Belgrade and history in general which he communicates with passion. I enjoyed the Russian Heritage & Serbian Orthodox tours with him very much

First of all, go to Serbia. It is beautiful, interesting, and welcoming. We definitely recommend you book with Serbian Private Tours. We had a fabulous 8 day trip. Everything was well planned, organized, but flexible. Our guide (Andrija) was everything you want - knowledgeable, easy to be with, went out of his way to be sure we were well taken care of, and a great driver which is important in Serbia. We are hoping to go back and will definitely use Serbian Private Tours again.

I did two of these on my first day in Belgrade, and they were a great introduction to this city, in particular its amazingly complex history. The first morning was the Free Downtown Tour, and in the afternoon the Free Zemun Tour. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable, and I would say it pays to do a bit of research before you come so that you don't get overwhelmed with the volume of information.
