Very beautiful church. Great architecture and lighting. Only disappointment was not being able to see the catacombs downstairs because the staff closed it off.

I really liked the difference between different illusions. The puzzles were hard but solvable. The staff was very helpful. Love it here.

It was very fun. It started with a lecture, and then the instructor gave us small lamps and used a large device with lighting to make the lamps glow from a distance. After that, we had an opportunity to touch a small lighting bolt, one that doesn’t hurt. The museum is small, but still, definitely worth visiting!

Definitely a must when you go to Belgrade. One of the most beautiful places and churches in entire South East Europe, no only in Serbia.

On a Grand Circle River Boat Cruse.

Our visit to this mausoleum was very interesting as the 35-year history of his leadership of Yugoslavia is nicely explained.

Teto held Yugoslavia together as an independent country in the turmoil that followed World War II and the Cold War. Although a communist country, Yugoslavia under Tito’s moderate form of communism, clashed with Russia and their much stronger teaching / ideology of the Lenen. In fact, Stalin unsuccessfully tried to assistant Teto many times. Teto sent a message to Stalin (after these attempts), that he should STOP trying to kill him, and if he did not stop, he (Teto) would only need to send one individual to be sent to assassinate him (Stalin).

Yugoslavia in its heyday (under Tito) (like Budapest in Hungry), became a places where Russians would vacation and enjoy some of the perceived “luxury and decadences” of the west that was not available in Russia.

Tito was able to satisfy the needs of the Catholic Christians / Orthodix christens and Muslim factions, thus he was able to hold the country together, but upon his death all hell broke loose within ethnic cleansing (WAR) as the minority of Orthodix christens wanted to break away and form their own country or join Serbia. Basically it became one Christians CLAND fighting another Christians CLAND (somewhat similar to what went on in Ireland between the Catholics and Protestants).

Upon his death in1980, all over the world countries mourned his lost, as leaders from all over the world attended the funeral.

Crkva Svetog Marka is a nice church very close to the downtown of Belgrade, situated in a in a big park. The interior of the church is worth visiting. Access is free of charge.

The Ružica Church is a Serbian Orthodox church located in the Belgrade Fortress. A church has been at this location since the early 15th century, while the extant modern building is from 1869. The alternative name of the church is Church of the Holy Mother of God, there dedicated to the Nativity of Mary.

The church is significant for its location close to the water spring of Saint Petka, both of which are popular with Serbian Orthodox adherents, and the paintings inside the church. The western wall has a painting of Jesus Christ's Sermon on the Mount, anachronistically with priest Petar Trbojević and King Alexander in the audience. The eastern wall there are paintings of King Peter and Emperor Nicholas II of Russia. The rest of the ceiling and walls are painted with saints and biblical scenes. One of these is the death of Mary, surrounded by the apostles, while angels and Jesus look down from heaven.

Very interesting and informative museum. We spent hours in it. It basically covers all Serbian history through its wars. The only negative aspect is that some of the text is not translated in English.

A really good museum in the centre of the city. A huge amount to see, so you may need to be selective or visit more than once. It’s well curated and spans an interesting range of things from history to art (it’s part museum, part gallery). Worth visiting.

I think if this were named “Tito Museum”, it would cover it better. In the U.S., we would probably call this a “Presidential Library”. Personally, I like history and thought it was cool, although the collection is a bit of a mishmash. If you’re in Belgrade, I’d make this a priority though.

We traveled through the teachers union with an excellent guide named Dr. Yoel Shimhon. The best instructor I have ever had. Serbia is an interesting country worth visiting.

First there is no road sign from any direction for the museum.
You must follow the sign for the Belgrade Airport and then when you take exit from the highway, after 500m follow the direction for the parking and turn left. The museum is on the right and the parking is free. Only a few spots available but there isn't a lot of people visiting this museum. Which is a pity because it is the best one in the country!!!
Ticket price is 3 EUR per person and 7 EUR if you want to take a pictures inside.
You have a ground floor with small exhibition and flight simulator, which is a 18 EUR per 15 min in a Boing, then first and second floor. And a small part outside that you can walk.
But is really good and you should visit if you have time, because it is about 30 min from the city center and you will need a vehicle.
Airplanes are old and outdated, and if you like that kind of exhibition you will have a great time.
