Basil's Cathedral is a real visiting card of Moscow and probably the most recognizable place in Russia.
For many who come to Moscow and come to Red Square, it becomes the most striking and memorable cathedral of the capital. Built between 1555 and 1561, this temple impresses with its ornate domes of the most intricate shapes.
For a long time I did not manage to visit inside.
Entrance fee, 500 rubles. for citizens of the Russian Federation and 1000 for foreign guests.
It is quite crowded inside, several churches of very small area are combined into a whole labyrinth.
Very beautiful painting on the walls, old icons.
In front of the temple, on a small pedestal, there is a model that the visually impaired can touch. It also allows you to imagine what the temple looks like from above.
A place that is definitely worth a visit!

The last time I was in the Hermitage was when I was 14 years old. Nevertheless, I remember the main sights well. You can buy a ticket online for 700 rubles.
The tour gives an opportunity to see the main halls and exhibits in an hour and a half.
We did not like the first guide, so we joined another group with a lively woman who vividly told many interesting stories about the exhibits. We spent three and a half hours at the museum. We walked only 8 km, but fatigue apparently affected and by the end we could hardly move our legs.

Busy, colourful, noisy, fun and most differently Russia’s version of a theme park. They do it well. Try it with an open mind and I’m sure you will enjoy. P

The entrance to Kremlin park is exotic. You can enter the park after passing through a three-step Heart lane. Here you can get a beautiful photo of the Kul Sharif Mosque from a unique angle. Here a large row of steps leads me to the Gigantic wall of the Kazan Kremlin. Now Starting from Preobrazhenskaya Tower, I passed to another unnamed tower and finally reached Taynitskaya tower. Not to mention there were a couple of Viewing platforms to watch the left side Panorama views of the city

I rented a car to go there from Kaliningrad. It was February (not the best season to explore the Split, I'd say). The day was damn blowy and gusty winds at the beach literally got inside me notwithstanding my anorak. The sea was covered with hypnotizing rip curls and formidable waves were hitting the shore and even crushing some trekking paths (I saw quite a few in shambles).
Still, I spent a gorgeous day there. Breathtaking panoramas, pristine nature, no tourists and some cozy places to hide from inclement weather.
I had lunch at the excellent Rybniy Dvor/Fischhoff restaurant in Rybachiy (see my separate review), did some shopping at an amber shop near it, crisscrossed the Split as much as I could and finally, in complete darkness, stumbled upon a fox (not sure which of us got frightened more).
Entrance fee is ridiculously low (less than USD 6 including a car) but you must bear in mind that it's a natural park with pretty strict rules - parking only in allocated places, no camping, no deviation from marked paths, etc. And the authorities mean it: fines are significant.
A must see! Try to choose better weather though but avoid the high season - too crowdy.

I live in NN and I love this zoo so much. First of all, there are a lot of different animals. Animals are really friendly and funny. You can buy some food and feed them here.
P.S. But be careful with goats. They really like eating, so they can run after you to get some food.

It's not my first time at the zoo. This visit to the zoo upset me. There were no bears. Everything is under reconstruction. Tigers are tired. Polar bears live without water. There is no water in the pool. There are only two of them. There are few animals. There are very few souvenirs. There are few toilets. The zoo looks sad.

Probably the most famous and easily recognisable building in Kazan. This Mosque is beautiful both inside and out. Entry is free, it’s well worth climbing the stairs to the two balconies as these offer great views of the mosque. There is also a small museum in the basement.

The musical fountains in an Anapa are really something interesting to see in the evenings. Any evening in the summer has the streets crowded with families and tourists. Stopping by the musical fountains is really a treat.

Very clean and fun selection rides. Very well insulated from the cold if you are going in summer. Would eat outside though.

We saw this lovely city on our conducted tour around the Golden Ring, and we were here for one night and half a day. In my opinion, the BEST thing, by far, in Yaroslavl was the riverside walk along the Volga River. One of the best riverbank walks I have experienced, anywhere in the world. The river looks great, and there are some very interesting churches on the walk, apart from some other beautiful buildings. Very very photogenic. Even in bad weather! If it is a nice sunny day, you could not ask for more! Remember, this city is over a thousand years old, our guide regaled us with plenty of stories of the past. It is the biggest city between Moscow and the Arctic.
