A chance to see a selection of houses and buildings from all areas of Romania. A very unique museum giving an insight to life in this country not so long ago.
    Well worth a visit.

Beautiful experience. Very practical. All in one. I'm there 1 or 2 times / month, depending on what supplies we need. Each time - a positive experience.

A mall like any other mall. You can find almost everything here: clothes, shoes, jewelries, electronics, restaurants and so on. The fast- foud court seems a little smaller than in other malls but it's OK. What I especially like here is the roof terrace that is huge and very nice arranged.

It's not the biggest or best market I've been to but ok to get a local feel of Bucharest shopping. I tried the traditional sausage and the girl was pretty rude as I don't speak Romanian. So it's ok for a look and if you want fruit and veg. There were many other things to buy but I didn't see anything I wanted.

We wanted a mall which was easy go reach by metro so chose this one. The nearest station is connected directly to the mall which makes it very easy to get to.

Lots of clothes shops, some souvenirs and a huge hypermarket (Cora) which was great and very cheap!

Lots of cafes and a Macdonalds in the metro station.

We came here for an early evening glass of wine (a Moldovan red, very nice) and just loved the quirky nature of this bar. Surrounded by antiques and in amazing rooms I felt I should be sporting much more elegant attire and that I had been transported back to the Belle Époque. Lovely.

Just a bit too smokey for a Brit but that's Romania (and adds to the ambience I guess...)

the house is an touristic objective by itself, being the oldest functional house in Bucharest (people say) and located in the former Armenian neighborhood, in a central area, but on a quiet street; the house has a name, Casa Melik
the architecture is interesting, it's worth to rest for a while in the garden, to see the house from the middle of the vegetation, guarded by the painter (statue)
the museum is a cosy and nice one, and it offers some nudes of Pallady, to the lower level, and the art collection of a local worthy family, to the upper level
the art collection includes painting, sculptures, old stylish furniture
there is a very nice part of the house, dedicated to the youngest painters that could come here to practice
the cost of the visit is two euros, there is a brochure but only in Romanian...only cash, no cards...
