Arriving alone with baby, all the baby equipment and suitcases and having accommodations in the pedestrian zone, was very worried about how to handle everything. Sarah from the agency immediately confirmed and reassured me that we will be met. The driver Ivan waited for us right at the arrivals gate, took over all the luggage and equipment, helped install the baby car seat. He not only drove us to town, but left the car in the closest garage and carried our many suitcases up to our apartment (no elevator!). He was a real lifesaver! Both Ivan and Sarah had excellent manners and were lovely to work with. We will certainly book this agency again for airport transfers and also for excursions around Croatia. Worth every dime. - Pauline1 contributionWe did a 12-day itinerary in Croatia and Slovenia with Limitless Balkan during the first two weeks of December. Our preference was a partial guided tour package to accommodate leisure days on our own for 2 persons.
From the time we contacted Limitless Balkan, Aleksandar was prompt to reply and find out our needs such as preferred mode of travel, travel interests, dietary requirements, must-see attractions and etc, before giving us a detailed quote. This was definitely a plus factor which allowed us to plan our travel according to the way we like. Our trip comprised a mixture of guided tours and leisure days for self-exploration which covered nature, hiking, history, cultural and sightseeing.
For accomodations, we arranged ourselves. Depending on preference and needs, Limitless Balkan is able to help recommend and/or book the hotels for their clients.
Alex coordinated our travel seamlessly in the following ways: airport transfers, personally drove us on some days, arranged experienced and knowledgeable tour guides for city walking tours, arranged reliable drivers, made purchases for attractions' tickets, took us on a 2-hour hike at Plitvice Lakes, doubled as our photographer and provided recommendations on attractions and food during our leisure days.
A hands-on and thoughtful person, Alex placed bottles of drinking water in the car, at the start of each day whenever we travelled with him. On days when we made long drives and did not stop for lunch, he also placed light snacks such as nuts, fruits and chips so that we do not go hungry.
I would also like to commend on the professionalism of the city tour guides - Mario, Milos and Marina under Limitless Balkan. They are friendly, genuine, generous in sharing their knowledge with us and definitely very proud of the cities they represent.
With minimum planning, we were able to experience Croatia and Slovenia in the best way possible with Limitless Balkan, making it a great winter travel. My favourite places would be Lake Bled and Skocjan Caves in Slovenia; and Plitvice Lakes in Croatia. And yes, travelling in winter is a good choice with less tourists and hence without the crowd in the background while taking photos! Also with the decorated Christmas markets and lights, there is the joyous holiday mood and festive spirit.

He was tentative and responsive all the time, and extremely reliable. I used his services for Private airport transfers, Private tour to Plitvice Lake National Park, and Private tour to Lake Bled & Ljubljana. Also he helped me to arrange tours from Dubrovnik with using his business partners. Everything was on time, smooth and stress free. His knowledge and insights were so helpful and increased our enjoyment. After the tour of the castle, he took us for a fabulous lunch and winery tour at Vina Vuglec and then returned with a pleasant and picturesque drive back to our hotel Esplanade. - Ela1 contributionExcellent service provider. I and my colleagues took a tour to Plitvice Lakes. We were quite limited with time but Ivan managed to organized the trip to suit our requirements. The mini van arrived on time. - Discover031887849111 contributionWe are a US couple and my husband had a surgery in Zagreb and we needed a last minute transfer to Opatija. Everything about our transfer was excellent. Stjepan went above and beyond as our driver.His english is impeccable. Besides giving us a wonderful, comfortable ride (especially for my husband just from surgery), he also helped us navigate the check in process in Opatija and helped us with our bags. We are so grateful and couldn't have done it without such a compassionate and knowledgable driver. Many thanks. - Stephan H141 contributionsThere is a reason why this National Park is one of the most popular destinations around Zagreb. The lakes and waterfalls are beautiful, you'll spot many different animals and plants. We discovered the park by ourself, and cut some distances by bus and ferry. Both are included in the ticket. While it was above 30°C, the shadows of the trees and the cooler air above the water surface helped us walking some 5-6 km. You should definitely pack something to eat for a lunch break, because the food available is quite expensive and there is no big menu (no vegan options for instance). - PamPam4 contributionsBudget Transfer provided a personalized, throughly planned, well thought-out six day trip. They are far more than just a "transfer" company. Dražen (as driver) and Rafaella (as guide) were with me every step of the way, answering questions and being great travel companions. :) Rafaella was knowledgeable on so many subjects: Croatian history, current life in Croatia, and she was truly a pleasant and educational personality throughout all situations.
My desires were fully taken into account, and I never felt led to do what the company might benefit from (as is often the case with guided tours) - everything was fully customized to what I wished to do & see. And where I chose to leave the details up to them, they were completely handled, with ease.
I requested a tour covering a lot of ground and wanted to see many cities, and that we did! We kept moving and I saw so much more than I ever could have on my own. All the tickets, ferries, and timing was perfectly planned.
From my very first emails with Biljana, I was impressed with the organization and thoroughness of Budget Transfer's planning. They went above and beyond to answer all my questions.

So, I chose the “Transfer-Croatia” which turned out to be a very pleasant surprise! Despite the late arrival of my flight (which was aggravated by a delay of about an hour), its representative was there waiting for me. The transportation was carried out in a top-of-the-range Mercedes where we really felt almost in “another world”. And the Transfer-Croatia representative provided a flawless service, from his friendliness to fast and safe driving, not forgetting some information he was passing me about Zagreb. Both Josip and Marko were excellent, extremely helpful, and guided us through all the nitty gritties. We never felt hurried at any point, they were extremely flexible, always there to guide us, our true friends in Zagreb.
