Staff in a caffe is really nice, coffee is amazing.
The museum has story for every displayed subject. Some stories are funny and some are really heartbreaking. Besides love stories there are some stories about broken family relationships.
All in all, I am not really delighted with this expirience it was a bit boring but not something that I would not recommend.

Small museum, €8 per adult to enter.
Staff were lovely and welcoming and took pictures for us.
We spent about an hour here as 2 adults and we laughed lots.
    Would recommend a visit.

So much fun!! Our kids got to touch EVERYTHING and it created some cool discussions about the similarities and differences life in the 80's.

The Chocolate Museum was one of the most fun and delicious activities in Zagreb.
The entrance ticket is a box with small pieces of chocolate, and as you explore each room, you can taste the chocolate from the box.
You also get a spoon to enjoy three types of melted chocolate.
Everything is so sweet, colorful, and adorable.
I highly recommend it with love... and sweetness!😋

I went to this museum because I wanted to learn a bit about the history of Zagreb. The museum is informative and had some interesting artefacts. This museum may be for you if you wish to attend at a museum with those specific expectations for 5 EUR.

In response to the comment regarding a lack of English-language explanations, I would say that the large information panels describing events of particular eras had translations in English and German. The smaller information panels describing the artefacts were indeed available in Croatian only.

Museum is a lot of fun. The website is not very helpful. As of April 2024, there is a tour of a mine mock-up and a much more interesting demonstration of Tesla’s inventions and a Faraday cage in English and Croatian at 11.00 on Saturday and Sunday, and I think 3.30 Tuesday-Friday. There is also a free tram ride on a 1920s tram at 9.30 on Sunday. Volunteer to stand in the Faraday cage! Lots of old machinery, transport, energy , turbines etc. Covered by Zagreb card, and cheap anyway. Would like some more info about Tesla.

Although I never ventured into the Archaeological Museum Of Zagreb but I must say that I loved the look of the building .
A wonderful facade ,it's a building that clearly demonstrates the influence of the once mighty Austro-Hungarian Empire ,the Doric columns add a touch of class to the building ,it's a museum and building that's most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Zagreb and easy to locate along Nikola Subic Zrinski Square .

My twin brother Stephen and I were heading to Le Petit Belge to enjoy some great beers in this Belgium bar and passed Drazen Petrovic Museum .
Dedicated to Drazen Petrovic ( 1964-1993 ) who was a Yugoslav and Croatian professional basketball player who's life was tragically cut short in a car accident in 1993 .
Outside the museum dedicated to this star of basketball is a great looking statue ,very well detailed ,very animated ,just a great statue in honour of a great sportsman ,it's well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate on Trg Drazena Petrovica.

All in all, nice for a viewpoint, but do not remember that it is of historical significance and there is a monument there. Worth visit. You can approach close to the car and take ca 5 - 10 min walk to the castle.

Very informative museum with a lot of history and chemistry facts. A lot of artifacts and items to buy. Very cheap entry as well as the gift shop. You get to see actual plants and hash. You can choose to have a tour guide. Our tour guide Patricia was excellent and knew a lot for only being their a couple of weeks! Highly recommend!

We visited here on a very warm Tuesday. You get the number 6 tram to the end of the line and then use the underpass to reach the museum. It doesn’t open until 11am so we had a coffee in the great cafe outside. It’s a nice enough space inside and certainly cool on a hot day. The exhibitions themselves were ok … nothing hugely memorable but a nice way to spend and an hour or so before riding home. If you only have a day or two there is probably more to do in the old town than riding all the way out here but we enjoyed it as we had three days and wanted to see a bit more of the city.

This was an interesting find as we wandered through the streets of Zagreb. The entrance is in a hallway up a flight of stairs. Follow the arrows ▶️▶️▶️. When you think you’ve gone the wrong way, you’re there.

They take both cash and credit cards 💳. The tour is taken using tablets 📱 that are in a multitude of languages, which coordinate with torture items along the way.

It’s not a big place at all but definitely has all the torture items 🪓🔪🗡⛓ one could want to see. It’s dark and there is “spooky” music playing in the background. The tablets also have pictures or videos showing exactly how the devices were used. Consider those things when deciding to visit with young people, people with PTSD, etc.

If those aren’t issues, check it out! It’s about $9 a person entry fee.

It’s a magical place about a magical kingdom. Full of incredible stories of folklore and beautiful illustrations covering the walls with cupboard to peek into. Allow plenty time!
