Great experience. Antonio was wonderful- entertaining and informative. Highly recommend as an intro to the food of Croatia. (Also a mini historical tour of Zagreb)

Our food and local tour with Tomas was fabulous. Tomas went above and beyond guiding us around the city to eat and drink where the locals do. Tomas was full of interesting bits of information about the city and we had a great time.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who is in the city for a short time and wants a more authentic experience rather than just visiting museums

This was a great afternoon in Zagreb. It is a real wine cellar in the middle of Zagreb. We tried 5 beautiful wines & had a delicious traditional lunch. Very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time cooking with Zeljka! She picked us up at our hotel and drove us to (and later back from) her home outside Zagreb - the apartment in Central Zagreb had no working kitchen due to earthquake repairs, so the class was at her house.

We decided to cook pork, and she had beautiful pork tenderloins and porcini mushrooms to make a dish. We also baked a cake and another dish like baklava - but with Swiss chard and cheese. All of it was yummy!

Zeljka let us help but also did a lot of the hard work herself, so we didn’t feel like we needed to be trained chefs to be there!

And the kicker was Rocky Balboa - the little shitzu - he was totally cool and happy to mingle. All in all, a fun few hours in/around Zagreb. We will definitely visit the restaurant they are planning to open the next time we come back to Zagreb.

The tour is so good as simple. Meeting point was at city center Zagreb, easy to find, but we late despite it. The guide was so kind and wait us for 15 minutes. A plus for those who is so bad in topology. Castle klimb was not too difficult, but still need to wear good shoes for gravy path. Dinner was in a reastaurant. Delicious more than expected. Thanks to Ned.

Great time shopping for food in the market and the n we went out of the city into the host’s home in a village around 30 minutes from the centre of Zagreb. We made three wonderful dishes- esp favourite was the cottage cheese strudel for dessert. We had some great coffee, schnapps and wine. Truly lovely day.

We spent a fantastic day exploring Zagreb with Karmela. While this is a food tour, she also included much information about the history of Croatia and Zagreb. Karmela took us to 7 different stops to taste and experience Croatian cuisine, from a local coffee roaster, Dolac Market, cheese and wine tasting, strukli, duck and mlinci to custard cake at the end of the day. Her knowledge of all the food is outstanding and we highly recommend her for a wonderful Zagreb food tour!

This tour was absolutely amazing! We got to see so much in just a day. Karlo is the best guide I have ever had and he went above and beyond to make our day special. Along with learning some really interesting historical facts, we got to experience some Croatian culture, wine and food. The wine tour itself was very well done and all of the wine was delicious. We were also served an amazing charcuterie board. The location of the vineyard, which we got to see as well, had absolutely breathtaking views. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, or any other tours that Karlo offers, he is the best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and cooking experience with Karmela. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, not only about making Strukli, but also about Croatian wines and good restaurants in Zagreb. She also toured us through the Dolac Market and showed us parts of the market we never would have found on our own. We had a lot of fun learning to make the Strukli, and it was incredibly delicious! Karmela served us two kinds of Croatian wines to try with our Strukli and explained both of their origins. We highly recommend this experience if you enjoy learning to cook traditional dishes in foreign countries!

This was AMAZING!!! Karmela's knowledge of provenance and origin of the food & wine of the region, the origins of Dolac and the market place and the quality of its market food being showcased in the cooking experience itself and then being able to sit down and savour it... this is a MUST DO experience and was a wonderful way to kick off our Croatian holiday! Thank you Karmela and a 6/5 experience. We cannot wait to try out the restaurant recommendations 🙏🙏
