- julia tSacramento, CA26 contributionsThis newer experience is a wonderful addition to the Nadi tourism scene.
The guide walks you through a recreated village explaining the culture. The fish and chicken is cooked in a traditional earth oven.. fantastic food!! Then the fire dancers delight.. loved it!!Written January 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The orchid collection is stunning. While it is a smaller botanical garden, it does offer a lovely stroll and a minor hike if you want to take in the lookout. Instead of focusing on the amount of flora on display, we suggest just being in the moment and enjoying the overall vibe of the gardens. Oh don’t forget to have a ride on the swings, cuz who doesn’t enjoy a good ole swing?!Written November 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JohnnyC26Sandringham, New Zealand15 contributionsRakesh took us to Natadola golf course and return trip twice on this visit. We have had many golf trips and airport transfers with Rakesh and his family over many years. They always provide a great service with clean vehicles. We highly recommend and will continue to use and recommend.Written August 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dlabrakeLas Vegas, NV185 contributionsWhat a great way to spend the day! Everything about this tour was well organized. Having the island with a smaller group of other people makes this adventure well worth it. The beaches were amazing, the water so clear and the staff was friendly. The selection of food was not my preference, however, those who participated in the BBQ said the food was good. If I was to ever visit this area of Fiji again, I would go back to Tivua Island.Written March 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gene R JSilver Spring, MD9,113 contributionsWe stopped here with our rental car on our journey south to the Sand Dune National Park.
Indians were brought to Fiji by the British in the 1800s as indentured servants to work in the sugar cane industry. Although this practice ended in the early 1900s, their descendants form a large part of today’s Fijian society. They built this colorful Hindu temple in 1986 in the ancient Dravidian architecture of their homeland.

Our driver William was entertaining and very informative.
It was a long, sometimes corrugated, drive through Ba to Navala but the four wheel drive was extremely comfortable and we loved seeing more of the country.
One of us was using a stick and this was well managed by both the driver and the village people.
We were warmly welcomed and shown around the traditional part of the village.
The food that was prepared was a mixture of interesting and tasty.
We found it difficult to eat with these lovely people watching us. However, that is part of the experience.
There was music, singing and a bit of a dance.

I believe it was the grandson that did our tour, and he made the day amazing.. both informative about Fijian culture and a sense of humour.. we all enjoyed the day .Written November 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Renée4 contributionsIt was definitely an interesting trip to the market and one worth doing.
The prices of the fruit were a dream and delicious!
What I would say as a tourist, is to be on your A game. We were very naive! There are a few sharks out there, and they are very clever at drawing you away to shops for a kava ceremony and to buy their local goods.
Don't afraid to be very firm and say no thankyou.

The trip to this art sancuatry just blew us off with its magic, and this was woven with so much fun, curiosity, hope, inspiration, care, and boundless creativity. The 50+ members from the Pacific Climate Warriors were amazed by the level of dedication, expertise, and care taken to engage a group of young people to engage in art in such a short span of time. Maraia, Mereia, Masi and the team were so helpful in guiding many of us who weren't so familiar with painting and, in we went into the whole process of coloring, color mixing, shading and more. The outcome was definitely beyond what we expected, and I would pay twice for every dollar that was invested into this whole activity if given the opportunity and resources. The kids and youths took with them home something that represented a voice, a story, and an experience that they will cherish forever, and for that, we are forever grateful 🙏. I'm definitely marketing this space and work for others to experience what we did. Thank you again to the SIGAVOU Studio crew and sota tale!Written October 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ShivyViti Levu, Fiji142 contributionsI heard a lot about this place and was warned that the road is not safe. But we set on a cross country journey with my dad. Went through the Sigatoka Valley Road and came right from the Nausori Highlands Road. This is the road least traveled with no road signs hence recommended for 4 wheel drives. You just have to trust your navigation skills as the area does not have network at places and the villages are located were far away. We did had to stop and ask for directions in few villages. But it all was all worth it. The view from the Nausori highland is worth the travel. We spotted out 2 or 3 waterfalls but they were quite off the road. Be ware of the wild horses that just run upon seeing the vehicle. Worth a trip to see the interior of Vitilevu.Written June 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
