The experience was great. The activities were very culturally informative and fun, and we felt safe doing the Sandboarding and boat ride. Maria was our guide, she's literally the sweetest person, checked in to ensure we were having a good time throughout the day and gave us good info about the areas we were passing through and go to. All round, a great experience from everybody.

We did the three day trip from Lima to Paracas and huachachina. We had an amazing time, especially the sand boarding and dune buggying in huachachina! Our guides Jirack and Anthony on the way out were amazing and Aymet, who took us back to Lima, were really helpful, communicative, knowledgable and most importantly great fun!

Would recommend this trip as a great way to see some different parts of Peru!

George (tour guide) was amazing, you can tell he loves his job. Everything went according to the Expedia itinerary from start to end. I was a bit nervous as a young solo female traveler, but i felt 100% comfortable & safe the entire tour. George picked me up right at my Airbnb door, the bus was secure, the energy was phenomenal, I made friends, had a yummy vegetarian lunch, tried Pisco for the first time. It was a long day, so pack snacks, a neck pillow, charger, water, hat, sunblock, extra socks, comfy sneakers. This tour will take the ENTIRE day, so be prepared!

The tour was great and included everything. We had beautiful weather for Paracas, however, Huacachina it down poured and we were unable to do the buggie and sandboarding. Our guide Aymeth was very professional and great at explaining all the processes and procedures even with weather issues. Would recommend this company!

We had a wonderful day with Edward our driver and Alexander our guide. Alex was very knowledgeable and helpful. The van was comfortable and relaxing. We saw a snap shot of Lima with ocean, ruins, art, yummy fruit, delicious lunch and the historic center. What a great day we had

I will start off by saying that this tour is a feat and the company must lose money on the time it takes to do everything in the 17 hours you have to do it in. I came to Lima a couple days before a wedding and didn’t have enough time to make it to Cusco so I searched around for good alternatives and this tour is definitely that.

First we drove a couple hours to get to Paracas where you get to take a boat ride and see the local wildlife (penguins!, turkey vultures, sea lions, boobies, etc.) then you head off toward Ica to an Eco winery where they grow Pisco and show you the process and tastings after a tasty lunch. Then you head to the sand dunes to check out the oasis of Huacachina and take an exciting ride around the dunes and if you’re brave enough, slide down the sand dunes on a snow board (do it, so fun). Be sure to wear items you wouldn’t mind getting sandy, LOL. The locals definitely push purchasing sun glasses and neck gaters for S/10 in Huacachina to help keep the sand out of your mouth.

It was a lot to do in one day and A LOT of driving in between but I am so glad I did it. We had a group of 12 people in our tour, people from Colombia, Mexico, Canada, Jamaica and the USA ranging in ages from 25-65 and everyone had a great time and was very friendly. There is a lot of driving between the points of interest so bring water, sunblock, a hat, sunglasses, some snacks and your airplane pillow. There are opportunities to buy these items in each of the stops and have a hot meal.

When I made the reservation I did not know what to expect but my husband and I were very interested in visiting La ciudad sagrada de Caral. Everything went well beyond our expectations. Instead of being part of a group, the only people who signed up for that day were two of us. We had a driver (Antonio) and a guide (Jose) to ourselves. It was magical! We highly recommend visiting this unique archeological site recognized as after Mesopotamian the second oldest civilization and it's only 6 hours from the US.

The Paracas & Huacachina Day Tour to Islas Ballestas and sandboarding was absolutely worth the early start in Lima! The itinerary is packed with incredible experiences, starting with a boat tour of the stunning Ballestas Islands, followed by Pisco and wine tasting in Ica, and ending with the thrilling sand dunes and sandboarding adventure at the Huacachina Oasis.

Instead of returning to Lima the same day, we chose to stay overnight at Huacachina, which allowed us to fully enjoy the magical evening at the oasis. We found an amazing restaurant, stayed at a fantastic hotel, and soaked in the unique atmosphere of the desert.

If you have the time, I highly recommend staying the night—it made the experience even more unforgettable!

Incredible experience and whilst it was supposed to be an English guide, it was all in Spanish and I didn’t understand anything but that didn’t matter, as the whole journey was so profound, educational, enjoyable and spectacular. I will never forget it for the rest of my life and I met some great people.

Bus had AC and we were picked up and dropped off by Peru Hop at our hotel. Our guide Arthur was great! Very sweet and friendly. He made sure everyone understood what was happening and had answers to any questions as well as being diligent about making sure no one got left behind. The ballestas islands portion of the trip was canceled by the bad weather. Peru Hop offered us a replacement tour of the Paracas reserve or a partial refund and Arthur saved the day by giving us an informative tour of the Reserve. I would be happy to travel again with Peru Hop

If you are planning to visit Peru, the Huacachina Oasis and Paracas tour is an absolute must-do, and I can't recommend it enough! From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable, especially with our incredible guide, Jaime, and our skilled driver, Henry.
Jamie and Henry picked us up at exactly 5:30 a.m. at our hotel in Miraflores at JW Marriott. Jaime went over our itinerary and first stop would be breakfast. I forget the name of the place, but it was amazing. They served some delicious breads and pork sandwiches. Afterwards, we headed towards the Paracas National Reserve where we took a speedboat to see some hieroglyphs before going to ballesta Islands to see the wildlife including- sea lions, penguins and a variety of seabirds. We then made a stop at Tacama Winery and had an amazing lunch. I literally had the best tres leches cake I've ever had in my life here, highly recommend!!!The winery was stunning and we were able to do a pisco and wine tasting and took a lot of great pictures. After lunch we headed off to the Huacachina Oasis to do some sandboarding and dune bugging through the sand.
Let's talk about Huacachina Oasis. It's like stepping into another world, a desert paradise surrounded by towering sand dunes, all centered around the serene, lush Oasis. The dune buggy ride through the desert was a major highlight. Jaime made it even more exciting by providing fascinating insights into the history and formation of the Oasis while keeping the energy high with his fun and engaging personality. We stopped at various points in the dunes for sandboarding, and while it was a bit of a thrill for first-timers like me, Jaime's encourage made it feel like a breeze. The stunning desert sunset over the dunes was breathtaking and a perfect way to wrap up our time there.

Henry, our driver was fantastic. He kept us safe and comfortable throughout the journey, ensuring we're always on time and taken care of.

Overall, this tour is a perfect blend of adventure, nature and cultural insight. Jaime's passion for his country in the region really shown through, I highly recommend this to anyone when looking to explore the beauty of Peru Southern Coast.

Leonardo knows his country and told the two us so many things on the four hour ride from Lima to Caral. The traffic was heavy but the time went fast with all the conversation. When we got to Caral, our site guide was Dino who was passionate about the site and had worked as an archeologist on the site for twenty five years . The exhibits were great but you need to know Spanish to read them of course. However, Leonardo was quick to talk about them. We had Lomo soltando in Huacho with chicha. The weather was perfect. Our driver, Alexandro, was a great driver as I would not like to navigate Lima!

I had an amazing experience on this tour. Our guide, Frendy, was phenomenal—educational, patient, and genuinely kind. There’s a lot of time in the car, but we were able to rest, and Frendy would wake us up occasionally to point out interesting sights, which i really appreciated. Although we only had about 30 minutes each for breakfast and lunch, the timing was perfect, and the food was ready as soon as we arrived. Seeing the Nazca Lines was a dream come true. I did get nauseous during the flight, but Frendy was patient and attentive, checking on me long after. The bus and car were comfortable, and overall, this was a 10/10 experience. Our guide was also very willing to take as many pictures as requested ahaha. Highly recommend!
Thank you Frendy and all who played a role in making this trip a memorable experience.
