Excellent guided tour that we tasted signature dish Lomo Saltado, Pisco Sour, mango ice cream with fiber, empanada etc. It's combination of education and tasting. Highly recommended, especially if you enjoy Peruvian cruise

This was my second tour with this company as I did the daytime experience the day before. I was fortunate to have Silvia again, and she made some absolutely wonderful selections for me carefully avoiding any overlap between the two tours. This was a walk through some not obvious yet wonderful establishments. An appetizer on the ocean at Cala, some sharing plates at Kitcha including an astonishing Ossobuco cooked for 2 days, and a dessert at Ana, a restaurant 100% owned and staffed by women. Mouthwatering, interesting, informative, and entirely professional. Bravo!

We had an awesome tour! Our guide, John, was extremely firendly and knowledgable about Peru. He taught us a lot about the history of the city and the food, pre & post-colonial. He seemed very genuinely interested in our questions, and the tour felt catered to our pace, the conversation casual & free-flowing, and the food was immepacble! Sooo much food, we all walked away tired, and very full.

A delightful day with Silvia (our tour guide) and Juan (our driver) exploring the eclectic tastes of Lima coffee shops, food markets and restaurants. Silvia is passionate and enthusiastic about all Lima has to offer - especially its colorful cuisine. A treasure trove of stories about Lima’s history and culture, Silvia makes each stop come alive with the context of each delight we sampled. The day included five stops - gourmet coffee, a tasty lucuma smoothie, a sample of unique Peruvian fruits, an extraordinary meal at Limana, an organic chic eatery where we made coconut ceviche (guided by our chef) and pisco sours, topped off by a delicious meal at Huaca Pucllana, an outdoor restaurant overlooking a pre-Incan archaeological site. An amazing day to end our Peruvian tour on a high note. Strongly recommend.

This was a fantastic experience! I did this tour on my first day in Lima and was introduced to so many new and unique flavors that I’ve never tried before! My tour guide, Amadeo was very friendly, professional, and enthusiastic! He picked me up from my hotel and took me to a few local markets. I’m vegetarian and he was able to cater the tour to my diet without compromising on quantity or quality. We had classic Peruvian dishes such as causa, vegan ceviche, and Lomo Saltado, as well as a variety of unique and exotic fruits. He also explained the history behind the dishes. All the food was very clean and safe, did not have any stomach issues! We then went to the Bohemian neighborhood, Barranco, for a tour of all the wonderful murals! Overall a flavorful and enriching experience, I’d recommend this to anyone who is a foodie like me :) Thank you, Amadeo!

I was looking for tours in Lima that were a little different. This hit the spot. The guide was amazing and really knew the area and people. We met many of his friends as we walked around the market area. The restaurant prepared me a wonderful meal and even packed my leftovers to take with me. (I took a later shanty town tour and gave the food to kids.) The street art was fantastic and I would do this tour again.

That was really good short introduction to Lima - its historical city center. Amadeo is a great guy, he comforted me well so we were not in a rush, relaxed and I took a lot of pics. I had kind of VIP guid tour as I was only one for 2pm tour (tour finished around 8:30pm) and I happy they did it for me. I saw catacombs and some interesting details about old central district. I tried Peruvian churros (that was really great sweet stuff and included in the tour together with the main dish for our dinner) and I had lomo de seco in the restaurant on the main square. I highly recommended Haku tours. Very well organised and quick response via chat.

I had such a great time with the folks from Sky Kitchen. I recently moved to Lima for work, and my experience with them got me so excited to do more. The Market Tour with Yurac was great! I learned about how to order and work with the different shop owners in addition to gaining knowledge about many different foods, fruits, and vegetables, many of which I would try later during the fruit tasting with Christian. The cooking class portion (Peruvian Standards) was top notch. It was a relaxed environment with plenty of opportunities to get involved and learn more about how Peruvian cooking operates. And everything we made was delicious! Highly recommend Sky Kitchen to travelers and locals alike!

This gastronomic tour in Barranco was one of the best culinary experiences we have had. The food, the history and the charisma of the guide made the night very special. The place that I liked the most was Isolina and it is even the restaurant where many important Peruvian people eat, including soccer stars.

My Girlfriend and I did a cooking class with Haku tours. Our Chef Mindy and Sous Chef "CC" were great! Incredibly knowledgeable and fun to be around. The dishes we prepare are totally doable after you return home. The price is very affordable compared to a few of there competitors. Thier location is great, tons of things to do in Miraflores before or after your class. We highly recommend Haku Tours for this experience and any of there others! We'll definitely be back for their cocktail class and I'm sure we'll try something else. We live in Lima 😀
Give them a try...you won't be disappointed!

We had an awesome time. Christian and Yurac were wonderful. The food is delicious and the class is run with absolute professionalism and true love of food. We learned not only about Peruvian food but Peruvian culture and also about food in general! 100% recommend.

Absolutely amazing! Very informative and delicious! Our guide Ximena was very nice and personal. She gave us great recommendations for foods to try later and was very accommodating for food allergies and dietary restrictions. It was very fun trying out all the foods, but even just talking to the guides was a lot of fun! Highly recommend!

Visiting Lima is always a rewarding experience! We booked an early evening visit to the awesome "Huaca Pucllana" inca ruins, rather impressive with the scenic lights on. Right after the visit, reservations were made at "Huaca Pucllana Dining Experience", a restaurant by the acclaimed Chef Marilú Madueño! No need to say we got a table almost in front of the main pyramid! What a feeling! We had a fantastic dinner, with courteous and kind service, a nice wine and Chef Marilú Madueño outstanding cuisine - Italian flavors and Peruvian touches. We loved the experience! Bon Appétit!

A really great tour where you get to know the city in a very personal way. The guide was super informed and wanted to make sure that we would have an exciting experience. the bike paths are extremely well developed and isolated from the rest of the street . you noticed that the guide knows his way around and could always ensure safety.

Me and my girlfriend had so much fun in Lima with our tourguide Choji! We did do 10 Tastings tour in Lima. The Tastings were super yummy and after the tour we ate enough and didn't hd to go for dinner anymore.

We also did book off the beaten track tour in Barranco. This bohemian district is very pleasant to be in at night. Choji also went the extra mile for us nad took us to Callao, a street art area which was super nice to see!

We would 100% recommend these tours and our tourguide Choji!!!

Our tour here was so much fun! While in some ways, this tour isn't a tour specific to Lima and could be done in some other city, our guide actually did go through the history of cacao in Peru specifically, which was very informative. We were walked through the process of making chocolate as well as many chocolate products such as hot chocolate and chocolate tea from cacao bean shells. Additionally we got to taste all of these products as well. We also got to take home our chocolates. It was nice to take a break from walking tours and do something hands on! I would recommend this tour.

Our guides were very friendly and very happy to answer any questions we had. They even let me practice my Spanish on the tour. Southern Lima is so amazing and I feel we had a great tour.

Nindi was the best ! We learned how to make the perfect ceviche and Pisco and she was super entertaining and responded to all our question, explained us the origin of all the ingredients and made our experience really great. Also worth noting that Haku helps communities in need across Peru . We bought fantastic chocolate too.

Seeing the fountains at night was amazing. Puts the Bellagio a bit to shame. The colours, the lights and the amazing laser and picture projection was off the charts. It was a beautiful park and the light show is a must. Lots of room and good views but not a lot of seating. Most people had to stand.

Very creative setting for a dinner evening in an old Hacienda in Old Surco district.
And a very creative and entertaining dinner show, with a mix of cultural tradition in a modern setting. Completed with an equestrian show, Peruvian Paso style.
Enjoyable

The trip was great. I only wish I remembered the name of my tour guide. She was wonderful. The fountains were spectacular and the actual show is a sight to behold. The tour of Barranco was part of the excursion but I’d already taken the tour a couple of days prior, my guide was able to show me the town plaza and added more information.

All in all, I will recommend this tour

I highly recommend using Travel Buddies Perú. My husband and I booked a private tour thinking it would be a small group of people. To our surprise, the tour was for us only. Jacie and Aymen picked us up at the hotel and took us on what would be the most unforgettable, and unique experience we have ever experienced. Jacie and Aymen treated us like family. We had purchased the package of Islas Ballestas, winery tour and Huacachina with the sand dunes. The Islas Ballestas and winery were closed to the public, but they took us to different places to make up for the closures. Love these two, you can't go wrong with them

We booked the cooking class with Andres since the place where it takes place was a few minutes drive from our hotel in Barranco. The cooking class was held at Andres's restaurant, which is very close to the beach and is also very beautiful inside and out. Andres is a self-taught cook who has invented many recipes and other recipes acquired from his parents. What we learned to cook was Lomo Saltado, Ceviche and we also made the most famous drink in Peru (Pisco sour).the class lasted about 3 hours and we had a great time.

Amazing experience for our first day in Lima. Cesar, our tour guide, gave us more than a food tour but a tour of the full culture of the city. He went above and beyond to make this tour personable and fun. The food was absolutely incredible and I absolutely recommend this tour!
