for those who want to know more of Incan history and the pre-Incan cultures. It was recommended to us by a tour guide, Christian, who is very knowledgeable of Incan history. This is not a glitzy museum following the latest trends in museum curation and display. It has many cases of artifacts: pottery. textiles, ornaments, things made of metals, and weapons. I was
a bit disappointed in the metallurgical artifacts. Signage is in Spanish and English. There is only weak narrative relating the various displays. Most of the descriptions are quite detailed but some are repetitive and didn’t offer a lot of new information.
In the gold room, there’s a small section of the wall where the light went out. Wish they actually fixed it.

But still the history and ambience of the place is something you should experience.
