After a week of having our minds blown all over Peru, this was truly the icing on the cake! Chef Jesus was incredible! It was a blast to go to the market with him, taste and learn about local fruits vegetables, meats, cheeses, breads and chocolate all from his favorite vendors. Then back in the culinary studio we made THE BEST Pisco Sours before we even started cooking. Everyone had a blast, the food was beautiful, and 5 hours melted away. We left with full bellies and a ton of incredible recipes!

Highly recommend adding this cooking class as the first part of a trip to Cusco. Chef Alvaro did a great job of explaining Peruvian culture and history along with the class. He was also able to provide some great suggestions for restaurants and cafes. This class is a great way to spend time acclimating prior to a trek.

After doing some shopping at the local market we moved to preparing ceviche and limo saltado. We had a few drinks and a good chat along the way, highly recommend doing the class while you're in Cusco.

One of the best things I did while in Cusco! Paul and Claudia were absolutely amazing. We were laughing and having such a fun time throughout the entire class.

We had a fantastic time at our cooking class - it was my birthday and they even bought a cake and a candle for me! We learnt a lot and had fun.

Lots of fun...learned a ton about chocolate making!!! Our instructor Gabriel was fantastic, good English and great humor. We were a party of 18 and he managed to keep all of us engaged and working hard to make our own chocolate! If you have time, a free afternoon or morning...recommend this one! Chocolate tasted more bitter than we are use to but it was pure...no artificial sweeteners or additives!

This was a great experience! We happened to have had a private tasting which was nice. Our teacher was clearly passionate and knowledgeable about pisco! It was so interesting to learn. We got to try three kinds of pisco and then make two cocktails!

We tried for 45 minutes to find the address listed to no avail. The locals including a Hotel concierge and manager did not know if this place even exists. Of all the chocolate tours listed this one looked to be the best. Very disappointing. I was promised a refund from TA several weeks ago. That never happened as well.

We experienced this excellent cooking class as a family. The chef Alejandro Castillo talked about all the influences of Peruvian cuisine from the many climates of Perou to the different waves of immigration . We had a great time preparing and then eating a ceviche, a cocktail and lastly the lomo saltado.
A great introduction to the rich diversity of Peru.

We did this cooking class while we were in Peru and it was one of our absolute highlights. Jose was such a wonderful host who taught us how to cook traditional Peruvian dishes. He was funny, informative and made the class extremely enjoyable. The dishes we cooked were so delicious and they were easy enough to replicate back at home.

My boyfriend and I did the San Pedro Market Tour and it was amazing!
The tour guy was very helpful and friendly. He picked us up at the hotel and took us to the market to buy some of the ingredients for our class. All fresh ingredients!
He then took us to the venue for our Peruvian cooking class. The place has a terrace with an incredible city view. The class was also really interesting, with very professional young teachers and wonderful food.
Definitely one of the best ways to experience and explore Peruvian food. Highly Recommended!!!
