I just returned from a four-day shamanic healing yoga retreat with Anthony, and I can honestly say it was one of the most profound and transformative experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely welcomed into a space of deep healing, self-discovery, and connection.

Anthony is an incredible teacher, overflowing with wisdom and spiritual knowledge. His presence is warm, open, and genuine, making it easy to trust the process and dive into the experience fully. Every activity, from the yoga sessions to the ceremonies, was thoughtfully curated to expand the mind, body, and spirit. I left each day feeling lighter, more centered, and deeply connected to myself and the world around me.

The food was absolutely amazing, nourishing, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. It was the perfect complement to the retreat, fueling both the body and soul.

And then there’s the property itself, simply breathtaking! Nestled in the beauty of Nicaragua, it felt like an oasis of peace and natural wonder. Every corner of the space radiated harmony, making it the perfect setting for deep inner work and reflection.

If you’re looking for a retreat that will truly shift your perspective, help you heal, and reconnect you with yourself, I cannot recommend this experience enough. Thank you, Anthony, for your kindness, wisdom, and for creating such a sacred space for transformation. I will carry this experience with me forever.

So glad we found this spot. It seemed difficult to find a yoga studio and that was important to us in preparation for our long trek to Machu Picchu. This was a very nice studio inside of a luxury hotel. The teachers were wonderful. Nice mix of tourists and locals. Wish I could have done a few more classes.

I was in Cusco for 3 weeks studying Spanish and exploring. I tried to make it to this yoga studio 3 nights per week. It helped my back after sitting in a classroom, helped my legs from all the walking, and improved my general well being from all the food and activity I was enjoying in Peru. I loved the small classes and candlelight. The routine of attending yoga classes in the evenings at Yogawasi helped me acclimate and adjust to life at 11,152 FT. I would recommend Yogawasi for yogis enjoying Cusco.

Pachananda is truly magical! Located just outside of Cusco's city centre, it is surrounded by stunning mountains and scenery where it is impossible to not feel at peace. The school and lodgings are so cozy and offer great spaces for everyone to come together as a community. Oh, and the food is amazing!! As for the course, I cannot stress enough just how interesting it is and just wonderful all the teachers are! They are so knowledgeable, caring, empathetic and funny and they do such a good job of bringing the curriculum to life. I learned so much about becoming a yoga teacher (and so much more) and I made such beautiful lifelong relationships. What a beautiful experience filled with yoga, dance, love, creativity, laughter, etc...I really cannot recommend this YTT course enough. If you have the chance, go!!!

Al Toth, the teacher is a really cool guy, with plenty of experience teaching people from beginner to advanced level. Your day will definitely be better and you will feel energised specially at 3400 meters above sea level

His class is can be really intense as relaxed at the same time, definitely worth a visit if you are in cuzco for some days. As he says, he is not teaching yoga he is teaching you how to be aware of your body.
