- VWVagsSan Diego, CA41 contributionsThis is where the locals come to shop. El Baratillo has everything from super inexpensive souvenirs to brand name second-hand hiking clothes and shoes. We found Salomon hiking boots in perfect shape that fit my husband's big feet for $35. Retail $175.
There is so much hiking clothes and shoes to choose from. The used hiking shoes/boots are in a separate white building just down the main market area. Ask the locals where, and they'll show you the way. At the main market I bought souvenirs for 1/4 of the asking price at the Pisac market.
El Baratillo market is walking distance from Plaza de Armas no need for a taxi. The market can get a bit crowded in some areas but otherwise the experience is great!Written February 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
