- Christian MCopenhagen, Denmark4,068 contributionsArequipa's Centro Historico is extremely photogenic and a unique neighborhood in all of Peru. Here, you feel 100% of the city's Spanish origin, while the rest of Peru's cities, big and small, are experienced as a combination of Spanish and indigenous influences.
You can google free self-guided walks around the historic center, so you'll catch all the most important and beautiful sights. Alltrails dot com is an excellent guide. If you want to give a little tip to a guide, there are also plenty of "free walks around Arequipa."
However, you should leave the center around Plaza del Armas if you want to eat cheaply and well with the locals. Within a 5-10 minute walk from the center, you'll find a wealth of local eateries, for example, on Calle Fransisco Pizarro.Written February 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The air is dry and the climate pleasant. Totally recommended for all types of national or foreign public.

I suffer from chronic back pain and their techniques brought me utter bliss. My absolute favorite treatment is the hot stone massage. Full body relaxation in a serene super clean setting! I loved it so much I booked multiple sessions including one with my partner. We're now clients for life! Can't recommend Carlos Alonso & Helen enough. They are both consummate professionals. We wish them boundless success!Written November 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
