Frankly I wasn’t that interested in the museum in itself (I am not military fam and I do not know enough about local hero Sucre) but the lively exterior attracted me and I got more focused on the interior style that give you a glimpse of the colonial eras and of course the jewel of the internal courtyard that is so sweet!

It's located on the skirts of mountain Pichincha, this museum is dedicated to the history of Quito's (and Ecuador) fight for independence form the Spanish crown. This place is worth visiting if you like history and 19th century battles.

Walked by it and saw it’s free...So in I go.
Not sure what this place is about as except for a couple of pictures...Nothing military around.

I’d so skip it. ( it was being pushed at the Sucre Casa)
