*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
Well run, trip, Christian and Oscar make a great pair. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and sights. A gorgeous sunny day made it even better. Would recommend
The trip was amazing. The landscape that you’d see during road trip is stunning. Hector, the guide, is such a friendly guy & knowledgable. The trip was so smooth
Early hours in a november sunny morning. Amazing wiews, among the best I have ever seen in my life. Juan is a very skillful driver and a gentle host. Interesting stops: down to the shore at Laguna del Yeso, Chocolate house, a full-in-the-dark walk throuw an old rain tunnel and embalse del Rio Maipo. The picnic at the end of the trip with wine and chats.
Kathy was an exceptional tour guide! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Her storytelling brought the history and culture of Santiago to life, and she was always ready to answer our questions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personalized and engaging tour!
it was a large larger group than expected, 31 people, I consider small group being 10 or less. The guide was excellent and kept everyone gathered, but was such a large group at at times it was difficult to hear him well. not so sure. The wine is at the beginning, so 9 am, a tourist trap stop, no snacks. The walking tour part was a lot of fun and interesting. If anyone has difficulty walking, not a good choice as it is very hilly. but all downhill on uneven walkways.
As usual the guide makes a great tour outstanding. Francine made Valparaiso wonderful! Her knowledge of everything Chile and great entertaining personality!
Very fun day. Each winery has a different focus, all are good, final stop at restaurant was very good (lunch is on your own) and yet another opportunity to try yet more wine. Our driver and guide (Benjamin and Angelo) were great! Benjamin was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. Wonderful way to explore Casablanca valley and its beautiful wineries.
This was a great day trip to get into the Andes south of Santiago. Andres was a great guide - he explained the countryside, history, and culture as we drove to the trailhead. He supported everyone on the hike and assisted with the many stream crossings. There is only 10 minutes of rocky ascent, otherwise the hike is through a valley and is flat. There are lots of low prickly shrubs so I recommend long pants and also hiking boots/shoes. Lovely valley and the views of San Jose Volcano are beautiful.
Loved this tour!!! What a unique way to experience Chile. Because it was summer, we left in the afternoon. The traffic out was the worst part and everything else was amazing. We had nice small groups and met up all together at each location. The chocolate house was cute and a perfect stop before seeing the waterfall. Once we arrived at the hot springs, it was almost sunset which made an amazing background with the mountains. There are several temperature pools to enjoy. Bring water shoes/socks if you don't want to be barefoot especially in the changing room. Afterwards we headed to the BBQ spot, which was so nice and pleasant. The food was yummy and definitely enough for all of us to get full bellies. Then at the end they turned off all the lights and we stargazed before heading back to the Santiago.
I would do this tour again because I enjoyed it so much. Gabriel was a great guide and wonderful driver. There is some "off roading" so be prepared to bounce a bit but it isn't too bad.
Well organised tour, guide kept us well informed at all times. Pedro (guide) and Mataius (driver) were excellent. Pedro was particularly passionate about his job, informed us well with good information.
