The weather wasn't on our side when we went so the lagoon wasn't as captivating as some other pictures you've might've seen. However, that's not the tourist guide's fault. Our guide (Alvaro) was amazing and because of this, we booked a 2nd tour with them (Valparaiso). Muchas gracias!

Awesome day learning more about Chilean wines and the history of winemaking in the Maipo Valley. Many generous pours so pace yourself accordingly. Starting at a small winery and family farm with great information and moving to larger and larger commercial wineries. Lunch was good. Our guide Pablo gave lots of extra information and Rodrigo our driver was excellent.

Our driver Richardo was FABULOUS, communicative (even though he doesn’t speak a word of English he used translation tools and gestures), friendly, positive and a good driver.

Our guide at the vineyard Paolo is passionate, funny, though he did brush through the technologies of wine making while we were in the cellar, calling it “boring”. Also didn’t appreciate being told the color, smell and taste of wines before we even tasted them.

The tour consists of two parts, first tour of the vineyard and a brief wine tasting (of 3 different wine labels) led by Paolo. Second part was led by a sommelier (skeptical of his credential though since he avoided our question of how long did it take him to become a sommelier), with four pieces of cheese (goat, butter, Brie, Parmesan) with four glasses of wines. The wines, however, were of the same label (Marquis) but different varieties ( rose, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah).

The wines in the wine store are much more expensive than what you’d pay outside of chile. We checked the price and were shocked to see 50% price difference.

We paid for Premium wine tasting and it didn’t feel like it. The cheese certainly didn’t feel premium. We were told this place is the McDonald’s of wineries in chile and we didn’t believe it at first! kinda have to agree now.

Our experience was great! The bus was punctual and comfortable, and easy to find from the hotel. Our tour guide, Sophia Margarita, was very good. Her English is perfect and she was incredibly helpful at the gift shop, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

We loved our tour with Julio. We booked a private tour as there were quite a few of us, and were picked up promptly in a very comfortable and clean van. Julio was very knowledgeable and funny and managed to beat the traffic in a local's way! The restaurants that he suggested were also quite good.

The booking process was great as Claudia responded to all questions very quickly and thoroughly. She also was proactive about reaching out to confirm as we got closer to the date. Highly recommend.

Great experience. I have nothing to complain about this tour. The bus ride was smooth. The wine tour was great, although I am not a wine drinker, we enjoyed the wine tour. And the rest of the tour we have also enjoyed

Carlos (better known as Chile) our driver was great we all felt safe with his driving and he was also knowledgeable of the area.
Our guide Nacho was excellent we got and liked his jokes but most of all he made us all feel comfortable and welcome from the jump. His knowledge of Chile’s history is awesome as we would expect but his Petrology knowledge is beyond expectation. We had a great time, the wine, actually seeing the Andes and walking on it, the lamas and our meal all of it was amazing, thank you to our guide Nacho and our driver Carlos (Chile) stay safe.

Our group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed a stimulating and gentle day - our guide, Mauricio , was engaging, polite, punctual, fun, informative, helpful and friendly. We visited the amazing communities in Valparaiso and explored the streets and learnt a lot about the famous street art and cultural and political history of this region. An absolute highlight was visiting the Pablo Neruda Museum- his Valparaiso home! Try not to miss this breathtaking insight into this Nobel Prize poet - and the views are spectacular. We had lunch overlooking the harbour and finished our day wine tasting at Emiliana Wines in the Casablanca Valley. A biodynamic and organic vineyard and wine. The wines were high quality and definitely worth the visit - I am even taking a bottle home to Australia!
    I highly recommend this tour.

A great way to go sightseeing in the Andes near Santiago. The wine from In Situ winery tasted delicious. We also got a chance to see llamas, eat at a delicious local restaurant, and see the Aconcagua mountain from the distance. Alvaro was a great guide and spoke Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Everything was well organized from the beginning to the end. The reservation, pick up and return were easy and well done on time. I enoyed the beauty of the place and the clear explanations of the guide Andreas. We also had also an extra stop at a waterfall. The optional buffet had good quality and variety of food. The farewell cocktail was appreciated by the whole group. Absolutely worth the price.

Eugene was a fantastic guide for our day in Casablanca. He met my wife and I at our hotel in Santiago and drove us out to the valley and then got us back to our hotel early that evening. The vineyards we went to were really interesting. The first told us all about how they went from non-organic to organic (totally fascinating). The second was literally like a personal tour it was my wife and I, Eugene and the guy who runs the winery. This too was very interesting from the owner being an American until recently to their journey to become an organic producer. The third and final spot was an amazing culinary delight! We had the most amazing lunch then toured the winery’s farm to table gardens and other parts of the grounds. One other fun fact, my wife, 22 yr old daughter and I had the pleasure of being with Eugene our first day in Santiago too so we had two great days with him while in the region. Finally, Eugene spoke excellent English so if this is important for your tour experience too he’s your man!

Baha'i Temple was incredible. Serene and beautiful. Vina Cousino Macul was very interesting. 2 reds and 2 white samples. English guide was charming and engaging at Cousino Macul.
Patricio and Luciano were very fun, lots of insight and knowledge. I would highly recommend this experience for any English speaking tourists.

This class was a perfect way to truly experience Chilean culture and cuisine. Our hosts Patricia and Enrique were gracious and entertaining! Can’t wait to recreate our meal for friends back home.
