Who would have thought that there could be such an abundance of nature in Singapore!

We took a half day to come and explore this area. It was exceptionally warm unfortunately as I would have loved to have seen more.

The routes are well sign posted and there a toilets dotted along the route. There are also water fountains to refill your water bottle and vending machines serving ice cold drinks.

The views are spectacular! What struck me most was the sounds of all of the bird and insect life - it was so cool to hear! The trees are so impressive and tall.

    Loved it!

Alvin was a very passionate volunteer with a wealth of knowledge. He went above and beyond to make our tour very informative.

An interesting experience. It wasn't quite what I expected and it came across as more of Chinese mythology meets Disneyland! However, it was informative and an interesting park to walk around. Although it was open to walk around on a Monday, parts of it were closed. Entrance was free and there is an MRT station just a couple of minutes from the main gate. There is a noticeable incline up through the main gate into the park - be aware of this.

One of the coolest places to visit in Singapore. It gives such a great overview of what's going on behind the scenes in the city. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Plus, it's free!

hey besties, im a student from Singapore Management University (SMU)! decided to check out The Intan because I felt that it was about time for me to enter my artsy and cultural era, and just like i expected, the museum was lit! The Intan gave grace and beauty, and absolutely devoured. the vibes were immaculate, and i was GAGGED the moment i stepped foot inside. the artefacts slayed, and the owner, Alvin, is a KING of yapping and rizzing. to all the sigmas out there, book your appointments now to increase your aura points, and enjoy a GOATED day out at The Intan! The Intan truly is THAT museum.

A beautiful and diverse habitat to visit. The reserve is home to many kinds of plants and animals in the forests and mangroves. We were able to see a monitor lizard, a king cobra, many species of birds, mudskippers, mangrove horseshoe crabs among others. Crocodiles and monkeys are found there, but we weren't lucky enough to see them during our visit.

It’s really remarkable that large wooded areas like this exist in the middle of Singapore’s concrete jungle. We walked anti-clockwise from the visitor centre, across the zigzag bridge and then along the lakeside boardwalk until we reached the golf course, then doubled back through the forest trail. I estimate we walked about 5 miles over a near 2 hour period. We saw several smallish lizards, Kingfishers, turtles, large fish and a very large monitor, that scuttled underneath the boardwalk as we walked over it.
We visited just after rains - the mist rising off the water and through the trees was magical. It cost about S$15 to travel by Grab from the city centre.

Just a short walk off Orchard Road is Emerald Hill, a quiet, charming street that offers a different kind of shopping belt experience. This historical neighborhood, once home to wealthy Peranakan families, is now known for its beautifully preserved, pastel-colored shophouses that boast intricate carvings and ornate details. It's no surprise that Emerald Hill has become a hotspot for Instagram photos, with its blend of colonial architecture and tropical greenery. This area isn't just about aesthetics; it also houses trendy bars and cafes, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon or an evening out. Whether you're a history buff or simply seeking the perfect photo backdrop, Emerald Hill is an essential stop during your Orchard Road exploration. If you want to experience the night life excitement , you'll have to go there in the night.

A newly redevelop garden for all to enjoy their morning or evening walks. There is a children’s playground too if one is coming as a family. It’s a place for all occasions. Bird watching, exercise, barbecue, site seeing, etc. Definitely worth a trip with friends and family.

I recommend visiting Kranji War Memorial. It is an emotional experience particularly when you are the only visitor in the cemetery.

Seeing the graves of so many young servicemen who lost their lives certainly puts life in perspective.

There are two cemeteries here - a military one and a civilian one.

The cemetery is kept in immaculate condition and cared for by dedicated team who work there.

They were also very helpful and friendly in guiding me to the graves of two former Singaporean Presidents.

I took a taxi from Orchard Road and the journey was about half an hour and cost about $20. I returned on the MRT and it took just under an hour.

I recommend a visit here whether on your own or as part of a tour. I am most grateful to the amazing care takers who take such care of the graves and grounds.

    Please do visit.

It’s hot and sticky but it is well worth it for the views!

The bridge is so unique it’s great to see the architecture. It offers lovely views of Singapore.

    Well worth the effort!

Brilliant experience. There 737 simulator is top class! Capt Hamdan was a fantastic instructor, sharing his experiences flying the 747. He tailored the experience exactly to my flying experience. I'll certainly be back again next time I'm in Singapore.

I am not sure whether to write this review! We liked this place as it was quiet with hardly any tourists. It has spectacular views, although not of the marina bay area. Nice place to spend a relaxing day. Keep in mind that there is a 150 pax cap per day so the place might be closed by evenings.

Nice place for photos & picnic. Was there on a Saturday morning and there were many people cycling, jogging and the road from Marina Barrage to Gardens by the Bay & MBS is linked within a 20-30 mins walk.

As you can find in the other reviews, the island is just like heaven and truly worthy to spend a day.
But before you pack for lazarus, please consider these tips:
    1. Don't try to seat or picnic on the grass(seat on the sands near the sea), there are some tiger bee fly there that they can bite you , as it happened for us. We pass a difficult time that starts from the night that we came back and lasts for a week and we almost tried all medicines to got rid of scratching, but they didn't work.
    2. Take "mosquito repellent" spray with yourself. You can find them everywhere, from "seven-eleven" or "watson's" or any other shops, and please take it seriously.
    3. Take your foods and drinks, because there is not any shop in the island. You can buy a cooling bag from "Decathlon", its so cheap. A 10 litter bag just cost 13 dollars and can keep your stuff cold for 5 hours at least.
4 Take extra bags to collect your trash, because you should bring them to the main island, there is not any trash can in the beach.
