Visited the Marina Bay Sands Casino. Unlike my visit last year, I was actually able to get in. Before you are allowed into the casino, you have to show your passport and your Singapore arrival acknowledgment imigation email to three people! The last one scans your passport & takes your photo! Once inside... there are NO bars! You have to find someone to order a drink from. Good luck with that! Just a hint, the ladies wear a red dress!! If you are playing at a table, you can ask the croupier to ask them to come around... again, don't wait until you finish your drink to order a new one..... takes a while! I was there early in the day, so the tables were not busy, and it was easy to place bets. Everyone was nice enough & whilst I lost, I still enjoyed my time. Then as I was leaving, i had to show my passport & visa arrival confirmation email AGAIN, before i was allowed to leave. 🙄 It's definitely different, but it's worth a visit.

We were in Singapore and when I realised they had a racecourse we decided to go its easy to get to on the MRT and was a fun day out. If you do go by taxi be sure to book your return as its really hard to get a cab to go back into the city. The races start at midday and on the day we went there were 11 races. We were going to get the dine in lounge option but as I didn't book in advance it was not available on the day so we paid for Gold Lounge access for $30 in the lounge you get a table, waitress service for food and drink and a good view of the finish line but it was completely soulless so we found we were downstairs more than up in the lounge. There are food options down on the ground level the usual noodles and rice dishes along with cold drinks, alcohol is beer only downstairs, wine (quite bad and expensive $27 per glass) in the lounge. Betting was easy with lots of booths to place bets. Moving round to the viewing ring and getting to watch the races next to the track was easy. There is no dress code as such especially in the ground level areas however we did see some ladies with dresses and hats but I think they were with owners so in a separate area. The racecourse is closing in October this year which is a shame the course is a bit tired but still a lot of locals will find the closure a big hole in their weekend, I know gambling is frowned upon in Singapore but to close the course will be sad. We had a great day out and I'm glad we went before it closes.

This was a lovely old building over which we had excellent views from our hotel room. The tennis courts, cricket and football fields, bowling green looked well used.

My Uncle and I visited this casino for the first time in April 2024. We had already gone to the MBS casino on the previous night. We only have to get through 2 different security officers to enter the RWS casino, compared to 4 security check points to enter the MBS casino. The RWS casino also has a proper and genuine smoke-free area for its patrons, which is infinitely better than the MBS casino! We are non-smokers and almost died of smoke inhalation in the MBS casino the night before, therefore this was a welcome respite for us. My Uncle played the roulette tables, I played the slot machines. The is a better variety of slot machines here. Both of us walked away with small winnings after several hours spent here.

Great Exhibition with so much of knowledge about the Changi Airport. It’s suitable for family as there are so many interesting interactive games! Will definitely come back with family one day!

The Children's Garden located in Gardens by the Bay is a wonderful place for young children to play and cool off.
One area is a water play section which is segregated for young young children (spouting fish) and the other area has an array of sprinklers and flower buckets which tip. The water park is only for accompanied children up to the age of 12 and staff are on hand to ensure this is adhered to.
There is changing areas, loos and lockers to use whilst enjoying the facilities, making it then easy to enjoy the rest of the park.
At the back of the water park, is a more traditional play park, in the shade, which has monkey bars, balance beams, wobbly bridges and spiders nets leading to swings, slides and a larger climbing frame.
A small cafe, supporting this organization is located close by serving an array of drinks and snacks.
Our children love this area and demand a visit each and every time we visit Singapore.

My first time ever VR experience, coming from someone who has never even played on consoles and it took my breath away. Had an eight year old with us and he enjoyed it immensely. Darsh was patient, friendly and efficient. The place is a bit hidden but easy enough to find. Highly recommended.

During our family staycation day, we visited Pororo Park and it was super enjoyable, my son loves it, especially the indoor playground, having a cast on, it still did not stop him from climbing and conquering the obstacle course. Just look at how happy he is, really a great place to visit as it is child friendly and best part of all, we managed to have a picture with Pororo himself!

Brought my twin girls on a playdate with some friends in August 2020. Going in was a breeze and staff were very professional in handling safety measures such as taking temperatures and sanitizing the kids hands. We had so much fun around the large space, especially love the miniature road with rides! The slides and ball pit area were awesome as well. We love the fact that everything is so clean and well maintained. Thank you!

Great place to swimming proper laps in a 50 meter pool. Two pools, training and competition, not crowded at least during the week (late afternoon). Simple locker rooms with lockable (code lock) lockers and a few showers. Cheap.

When I went, the competition pool was closed, and from the next day the place was reserved for a big swimming competition for a few days, so it's a good idea to check any special opening times before you go. The next day there was a Taylor Swift concert (one of many that week) at the neighboring stadium, so my walking route from the bus stop by the stadium to the swimming center might have been slightly crowded...
