What travelers are saying
- Dr. Ziauddin AhmedDhaka City, Bangladesh1,516 contributionsIn terms of inside beautification, greenery, ambience and comfort this airport is one of the best ones. Nonetheless, this airport is a typical asian airport in terms of the rude behavior of the staffs, security check and long queue. Very neat and clean airport with taxi, grab and other public transportation facilities. Good wifi service. Varieties of shopping facilities and restaurants are available.Written February 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Astrid909Adelaide, Australia422 contributionsToo many choices of tea to choose from at this great tea shop at Changi airport. They have my favourite French earl grey but a lot of other favourites also. A handy way to use those Singapore dollars up before you board your flight. Make sure you get some macarons also they are delish. Yes this brand is on the expensive side but if you love your tea then put cost aside and enjoy!!

All the boutiques have similar eye catching displays and endless tins of exotic tea blends. Our family has quite a few collection of these teas and we do enjoy our own little tea party on special occasions. This may not be everyone's cup of tea though.Written April 11, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

RISIS’ bestsellers include its’ 24K gold orchid slider necklaces and brooches made of real orchid flowers – which make perfect uniquely Singapore souvenirs. (Singapore’s national flower is an orchid). One can either drop by their various outlets or check out their website to view their selection of products. It's hard to be disappointed with RISIS products. - they even provide product guarantee.Written March 2, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - wlkbt_trvlrPerth, Australia1,330 contributionsIt was great to see a Uniqlo store at the airport and we discovered all purchases are tax free! The store is a basics and essentials store though but very well stocked. It's good for last minute purchases before you go on the plane.Written May 7, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BigHugh51Adelaide, Australia3,628 contributionsMy wife is a great fan of Pandora jewellery and enjoys visiting their stores whenever the opportunity presents. We had visited Pandora store during a previous stop-over at Changi Airport and with plenty of time on our hands, my wife decided that we should take another look at the shop.
There was a much improved range of jewellery available compared to our previous visit. My wife was keen to make another Pandora purchase but was somewhat put off by the high-pressure sales technique applied by the shop assistant. In fact the shop assistant was so persistent with her tactics that we decided that we really didn't want to buy anything under such circumstances and as a result, we left the store and went shopping elsewhere!Written August 18, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Not fair to increase price at this location because of the Chinese New Year season. First sales girl started talking to me in Mandarin and when I told her I don't speak Mandarin, her colleague then converse with me in English. My advice is not all Chinese looking customers speak Mandarin and being at the airport terminal might be good idea to converse in English although I understand that they are targeting tourists from China.Written January 13, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MikeJennyQOnalaska, WI970 contributionsWorked for me. We were heading out to remote places for awhile. We were able to stock up on treats that would travel and we could deal with in hot areas with fridge. Overpriced but they are airport captive like you. Bagged very well which helped us out a lotWritten January 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BigHugh51Adelaide, Australia3,628 contributionsWe visited these duty free shops again during our most recent transit through Changi Airport. They stock a tremendous range of liquors, wines and tobacco goods.
The duty free prices charged for their merchandise are reasonable without actually being super cheap. We found the staff members to be knowledgeable about their goods, helpful, polite and efficient.
The DFS outlets located within Terminal 3 are well lit, well laid out and display their goods in a manner which make them easily accessible to their customers.
When paying for your purchases at the checkout, it is helpful for everybody involved, to have your passport and boarding pass ready for checking. This speeds up the process for the shop assistant, the customer being served and the other customers waiting in the queue.Written December 31, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kezzer995 contributionsWe were fortunate to have tour guide Joyce escort us to some of Singapore's amazing sights. Joyce was polite, helpful and informative. So much so, we will be returning fora longer stay in this amazing city. The tours are 2 hrs and free from Changi and return.
Our guide Joyce was wonderful and informative.
I recommend this free tour if you have a long layover at Changi.Written April 4, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. For example the ‘Risis’ line of jewelry. These are orchids encapsulated in gold. And they do actually use orchids which I found amazing. The items were a little pricier than I wanted to spend for gifts but I have them in mind for myself when next I visit. They have Royal Selangor pewter which is headquartered in Malaysia and very lovely gifts. Also a little pricey but unique. But I found some great pens and cards for my friends. They loved the items so I know it was a win. The sales associates in the store were very helpful and friendly.Written July 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
