My children and I went to Changi Lounge and we had a fantastic experience. Not only are the front desk staff very friendly but Rosalind from the bar took time to explain the foodenu to my kids. Will definitely be back!

Get a lovely views of the marina bay towers from the river bank.

Food is good and cheap but nothing out of the box. If you find a food court closer to you it will probably be the same. We read reviews and got a taxi here but it really wasn’t worth travelling a long way to. We went for the famous chicken and rice but it was sold out. Meals are about $8AUD which is great but there are heaps of good food courts in Singapore.

We normally shop at Ngee Ann City when in Singapore, but this was closer to our location so we paid a visit. I am so glad we did. This is a great mall with every high-end store you could want to visit. The water features in the mall are also very fun...

    Highly Recommended.

Great mall, lots of food options, lots of designer and non-designer brands, very well connected to MRT and you can take the boardwalk to Sentosa island

One of the top 2 shopping malls in singapore (other being Marina bay sands) . Most of the luxury brands are here, and you also have your Uniqlo and others. Lots of restaurants as well. Food court and other shops in the basement but no food hall. Opera art gallery is here, where you can buy million dollar art

As soon as you arrive you have the big decision. What will I eat tonight? It’s busy at night but you can find a table if you keep looking. It’s warm inside but there are fans on the ceiling. We ate here twice. Good value and very tasty meals. Worth a visit for sure.

My wife was keen to sample the original Singapore Sling cocktail. You certainly pay for the experience at $38 each. However my wife certainly had no problem enjoying & savouring it. We chose to sit outside at Raffles Terrace as the queue for The Long Bar was quite a wait and no problem being shown to a table straight away outside. Service was great and given a large bowl of monkey nuts to enjoy also. Definitely worth an explore of the hotel to take in the splendor.

This is one of Singapore's largest shopping malls. Lots of shops, lots of eating option, lots of walking. If you're into shopping, this is well worth a visit. There's a range of shops from high-end through to cheaper options.

We went directly to basement of dept store like in Japan. Great selection of sampling and normal food chains of Japan. We grabbed our favorites which included Mini Croissants, Taiyaki, Melon Pan at bakery, and grabbed 2 trays of really good sushi from the grocery area of Takashimaya for $10 each. This was just for snacking before a buffet Shabu Shabu at Suntec.

Great place and prices slightly above Japanese prices but still reasonable. Workers do not work as fast and efficient as their Japanese counterparts.

This is the local mall for people staying at the Carlton Hotel, Swissotel, Stamford or, indeed, the famous Raffles Hotel. It's not a large mall but has some interesting shops and lots of eating places especially in the basement area. There's also a very popular German restaurant on the outside of the mall. Worth a visit.

You might feel obliged to visit la pau sat/ satay street. We felt it was a must do on to come here. Def worth ticking it off your list of places to visit as it was very tasty.

Pros: Tasty food makes u want more
Clean toilets and hand washing station
Central and has lovely city buildings and lights around

Cons: busy everywhere was busy, joining tables of other groups etc may be required at busy times
Priced higher than street corner food courts.
Lots of the same options hard to choose where to buy.

Impressively large with down to earth stores that you actually want to visit.

So much shopping and eating, you’d want to spend a day here. I did.

Almost every you’ll need can be gotten here. And easily accessible by subway.

Are there major differences between metered TAXIs and GRAB in terns of availability and costs in Singapore?

Thanks for your input.
Answer: I find there are no major differences apart from the "dynamic pricing" periods (e.g raining) where getting a ride will be harder and more expensive in grab/gojek. Gojek is the new player in town so you will need to take that into account too.

The trick is to have the three apps and see which offers he best pricing. Gojek tend to be the most pricey I find.
With the taxi "comfortdelgro" app you can order a cab and choose fixed or metered pricing.

Getting a ride is cheap in Singapore that the difference in pricing I find to be negligible..
