Recommended potato chips with specialty sauce and drinks were amazing. Refilled our served peanuts and popcorns every time we finished them. Kept smiling sweet smart cool friendliest Abbiey! - ClockworkNellieEssex, UK282 contributionsThis is a nice place to go to. It’s the birthplace of the Singapore Sling so is a must do for tourists. Short queue to get seated so was no problem. Drinks are very nice. Staff pleasant. Drinks crazy expensive and double what you pay elsewhere. We were a couple of had a Singapore Sling each and then one other cocktail. $154 (SGD) so £94 (GBP). Was a little hard to get attention of staff to order anything else or get the bill so service not quite matching the price tag. But nice experience and worth doing. Friends and I had quite a few drinks which was excellently explained to us each and every time they served the drinks. They even sang birthday song to our 2 birthdays. Great work to Yvonne, Ado, Nyien, Aki and Muss (I hope I got all ur names right 😅) keep up the good work! It’s located inside the Marriott and there is absolutely no signage, you also need to push the buzzer to be let in.

I was seated at a table with my name written on it in a great spot, which allowed for great people watching 🤷🏾♀️ (don’t judge, I like people watching). We tried several drinks and they all were very tasty. The menu gives the flavor profile and potency of each cocktail, which I absolutely appreciated.
There is a minimum spend but super easy to meet with great company. If you can get a reservation, absolutely do it. What more of the last day of the Night to Light festival - which lights up the entire Padang view. Smoke and Mirrors has that curvy elegant silver bar that is reminiscent of Anish Kapoor’s Cloud Gate in windy Chicago. If you want the coveted front row seats to a view, book in advance. Wok’s That Smell, cheekily named is a modern take on wok staples such as fried hor fun sitting on a coaster that shields llapcheog (Chinese sausage) smoke. The whole experience is fun. Although the hor fun could be seasoned with seaweed or seasonings for more of an umami taste. Dry January cocktail dark and spicy tastes straight up like ginger ale but looks good with the sultry lighting. We were looked after by Tess who was amazing, frequently bringing over drinks (as we had the free flow option) and very attentive/helpful. We booked 4hrs, ended up actually staying for 5hrs (paid an extra 1hr) because it was that much fun. Played a few courses on the SIM first, then did the driving range. the Club options they have in the shop are good, however we took our owns clubs. SIM is very accurate, takes some getting used to on the short game as you don't have the visual like on a course.
We are already booking again to go back a few times over the next 2 months.

The drinks are unique with a local twist, many local flavours like Pandan infused into them.
