What travelers are saying
- MarkusFrankfurt, Germany250 contributionsSpectacular view. Clubmusic. Pricey cocktails but they are worth it due to the special location.
Dress nicely, no flip flops or beach attire. You will not get in.Written December 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Recommend sitting by the bar so you can experience the vibe and action of the bartenders. We ordered the famous Singapore Sling which was 41 Singapore dollars + service and government tax which you have to add 19%. The bar provides the guests with free monkey nuts. You are encouraged to throw the empty shell on the floor. This is an old tradition where in the old days of the British empire they had the local person do all the cleaning. Money nuts were virtually nothing to buy and were given free at the bar as they still are. The floors were made of wood and to sweep them was a very dusty job. The nut shells help to keep the dust down. The floors are varnished now but the tradition remains. Top tip, try out the hand-operated cocktail shaker located on the bar for some light-hearted fun.Written January 17, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mark chuaSingapore, Singapore3 contributionsSkai Bar is definitely worth checking out! It's on the 70th floor of the Swissôtel The Stamford, so the view is incredible. The whole place has a really cool vibe, and the staff is super friendly.
Shoutout to Benj, our host! He was so welcoming and made sure we had a great time.
Oh, and the drinks were amazing! We didn't try the food, but it looked delicious. If you're looking for a fancy night out with a killer view, Skai Bar is the place to be.Written January 11, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Can't wait.Written August 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tea & TrailsJapan122 contributionsI was able to get the best table with a stunning view of the Singapore night skyline, thanks to making a reservation a week in advance. The bar was fully booked when I arrived. The drinks and light bites were enjoyable, and the staff were very friendly.Written September 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - vikhyat_shahNew Delhi, India336 contributionsOne the biggest and most popular nightclubs in Clark Quay Singapore. The ambience is great. We went on a Saturday night and the place was full but still since the place is so huge we had ample space to breathe.
The prices are on a higher side but since there are very few options for clubbing in Clark Quay, it can be absorbed. The staff is polite and welcoming.Written February 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our package includes complimentary cocktails/ drinks from 5pm to 6pm. They’ve happy hours from 5pm to 7pm. The Island Martini is beautifully delicious. For bites, we enjoy the Avocado Roll, Buddha Bowl, Rum laced tandoori chicken and also the Korean Wings. Consistently good.
The Woo lounge area serves beverages and sandwiches/ pastries daytime. The Shiitake Mushroom Milky Bread was surprisingly good on its own. The coffee is by award-winning Indonesian Specialty Coffee Roaster Tanamera, I found the decaf good. Very cosy seats, perfect for my online and in person meetings.
Besides the environment and food, what I like best about the Woo Bar is the service team. Susan, the manager, is full of boundless positive energy and goes the extra mile to ensure your visit is a great one. Do say hello to her when you visit. Also compliments to Maxime, Azeem, Karan, Anthony, Jaya, Max, Sandeep, Sanche, Jay, Kinga, Jay, Norman, Sabrina, Yugen, Vickram, Ravin & rest of team for making each of our visit such a lovely one. Not surprising why I suggest Woo Bar to my family, friends and clients for our meetings.Written November 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The collection is incredible for its dollar value (150 million) and having the most expensive bottle of whiskey on Earth. It is even better for the design and art in the bottle presentation. As a whiskey lover I found John, Tim and the staff a great guide. They helped through the tasting and I learnt a lot and gained a new respect for what I was enjoying.
My wife is not a whiskey drinker. She loved the tour only option and had a glass of champagne while I did the tasting.

- Gary C1 contributionSo I finally made it to the famous ipanema world music bar & didn't dissapoint although it is easy to just walk right by as there is no sign the club is there. I was there two nights ago & the band & music being played was definitely a highlight. Drinks were expensive $18 for a beer still that's a small price to pay to be in this kind of environment what with the music, atmosphere & dare I say it the many beautiful ladies not that I would exactly call them ladies still I don't think I need to paint a picture. They actually made really good company & would show you a little love & affection for the price of a drink though would soon lose interest in men there if this encounter didn't go beyond a chat. I can see why they are allowed into the club because they are often brought drinks so good for business. Overall it was a fun experience ,& would not hesitate to go back when in Singapore.Written June 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Armagan A.Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam7,414 contributionsI am based in Saigon and my local friend brought me here after our dinner this evening. I loved the hidden entrance and the total vibe of this establishment and the tongue in chic humour in the decor.
My friend and I had not caught up in years due to working in different countries and soon as the drinks went from
one to three to four it was like nothing had changed and we were sharing long forgotten stories and adventures. I personally loved the service and the attention to detail. ALL of the drinks we ordered were delicious. Now I know how to find it I will definitely be back hopefully again with my dear friend, if our schedules permit. After all the value of enjoying fabulous cocktails only increases when good friends are included.Written November 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrew GMoscow, Russia663 contributionsThe cocktail movement in Singapore in particular started from this canonical bar - 28 HongKong Street
In fact, I didn’t plan visiting but when I opened Google maps to plot my route back to the hotel, I noticed that I was in close proximity to this bar.
The bar has absolutely no signage, advertising or anything to indicate that there is a bar... I was greeted by a quiet atmosphere, dimmed lights and low-pitch background music.
When looking at the menu my eyes were scattered - the ingredients in the cocktails sounded extremely promising, but I had to choose wisely as cocktails looked to be quite strong.
The first to choose was the Jesters reflection
Fifteen-year-old Rum, Cachaça Yaguara, ruby port, banana liqueur. A strong but tasty cocktail. Served with dried banana skins for a bite - perfect.
Second and last- Right hook Royale.
Santa Teresa 1796 (rum), evaporated red wine rosé, cacao liqueur (cacao rinomato aperitivo), Apollo milk wafer, aromatic beater (scrappy's).
A Negroni-style cocktail, but with a twist. Bitterness with a long sweet aftertaste, wine aromatics. Perfect!
It's no coincidence that the bar is still in the top 50 Asian bars for the last years.
By the way, all bartenders were cheerful tattooed ladies. Mix it as good, as many men can't
