What travelers are saying
- Isabella L1 contributionYay! Beautiful scenery, depicts the Japanese spring season very well! Every thing is very well made and well kept! Will come back next time!Written March 17, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JenKev_12United Kingdom40 contributionsBeautiful gardens with separate orchid house, I visited the Botanical Gardens as part of a City tour, we only had about 90 minutes, you definitely need most of a day to really enjoy the experienceWritten March 13, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ben FBloomington, IN2,059 contributionsEqually a work of architecture as it is an impressive botanical garden, one shouldn’t miss Cloud Forest under any circumstances! Multiple different levels featuring thousands of plant species and elevated walkways where you can look down as if you’re in the treetops.Written March 13, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Meg HAberfoyle Park, Australia7 contributionsloved the whole experience of Breakfast At The Zoo. The younger family members were able to interact with several animals. The meal was great and we saw the Sealion Show afterwards. Unfortunately it was too humid to spend much more time there, but still very worthwhile.Written March 12, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephen UUK89 contributionsThe National Orchid Garden, situated in the middle of the Botanic Gardens is world renown. Singapore has been breeding orchid species for about a hundred years and, in more recent years, has been at the forefront of using cloning techniques such as meristem culture to produce large numbers of specific varieties. (Most of the orchids purchased in the supermarkets of the West probably originated in Singapore, even if nominally grown elsewhere.) The National Orchid Garden is therefore spectacular; well worth the entrance charge (which is an absolute bargain for we ancients,) and well worth a couple of hours slow mooch around.
Not to be missed under any circumstances is the Sembcorp cool house. Apart from being a welcome retreat from the heat and humidity outside, the varieties (and they way they are displayed,) are breath-taking.
One would have to be a real misery to come away disappointed!Written March 11, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Views out from the bay itself or Gardens By The Bay will be sure to delight. Selfies galore!Written March 12, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- BELMONT IpswichIpswich, UK770 contributionsAbsolutely amazing view over Singapore. Go about an hour before sunset it see the sights before the light goes, view the sunset & the lights afterwards. Recommend booking to get the slot required.Written March 5, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ben FBloomington, IN2,059 contributionsWithout Supertree Grove, the metaphorical cake would taste too bland. You get to marvel at the magnificent architecture of Marina Bay Sands and a good portion of Singapore’s skyline at the tops of the “trees.” The elevated boardwalk between the trees is wheelchair-accessible via an elevator inside one of the tree structures.Written March 13, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stu2247Solihull, UK982 contributionsIt is easy to get to using the MRT and a good place to have a wander around for an hour or two. There are plenty of souvenir shops at reasonable prices. Loads of restaurants and bars to choose from. Some great temples for those photo opportunities.Written February 9, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
