What travelers are saying
- Abovetheclouds2,480 contributionsVery long beach. Beautiful especially the sunsets. Crystal clear blue water. Reasonably clean. Many dining options, bars and souvenir shops. Very busy and noisy. Not a place to relax. More a place to party!Written January 8, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Travel25346533585940 contributionsThe day we went we were the only visitors. Our own slice of Paradise until about 3 pm when another couple arrived. The water was clear and warm. The beauty was extraordinary.
Visit Puka Beach on Boracay. It was worth the effort.Written November 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great atmosphere - fun people, super helpful staff, great bartenders, delicious food and perfect vibes.
I went here for the first time about a decade ago. It's still amazing. And I can't wait to go back again. Boracay experienced major changes before and during the pandemic - I am SOOOOO happy this place survived. I recommend it to everyone who visits. You just have to do it.Written June 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. What this destination must change is their Jetty Port Process coming in and coming out of Boracay. It was full chaos that you do not know what to do. Guest experience is so bad as you struggle to know what is the procedure by observing, then lining up in every step 1. passenger list, 2. paying environmental fee 3. Paying the boat 4. Getting your boat seat and searching for your own boat. Going in was not much of a problem since we got the Caticlan-Boracay Multi Purpose Cooperative group (they are the ones who will line up and pay plus they will arrange for your transportation going to your Reaort. You just wait for the guide with a little fee. It was still chaos though and I pitied the foreigners who do not know what to do. Coming out of Boracay was the bad experience since we did all the steps. It was a struggle that all my good memories of Boracay went out of the window and I told myself, I now know why Bohol and Palawan is more preferred by Tourist! Not everyone can afford a 4 and 5 star accommodation in Boracay since the Resorts have their own ride and will make the arrangements. Majority still takes the general procedure. Boracay stakeholders must do something since even the locals (i heard from people there who lined up), Im not coming back to Boracay for a long time!Written January 7, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - D&M FoodiesPort Moresby, Papua New Guinea158 contributionsMost beautiful sunset ever!
This little beach in Boracay doesn’t have nothing to envy to the bigger White Beach.
Quite, with a lot of spot where to enjoy the sunset with your loved one.Written September 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is actually a religious place with a shrine dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. I couldn't be bothered to go into the water to see it closely. I just looked at it from White Beach and took photographs from there. At low tide, you can easily walk up to it.Written January 8, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dan LBunbury, Australia9,033 contributionsThe name is a bit of a misnomer as its pedestrian road lined with shops, spas, restaurants, jewelry stores, etc. that stretched from the Main Street to White Sand beach. Great vibe and friendly banter and couldn't resist the pleasure of foot massage, scrub and pedicure.Written December 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeff_FrazierLouisville, KY72 contributionsAmy was our guide and she showed us how the indigenous people built their houses out of bamboo. Also, they fed us some native food and allowed my blind wife to ride a water buffaloWritten January 13, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Raissa BanosanWhangarei, New Zealand77 contributionsThis is adjacent to White Beach. More popular for kite-surfers. I don't kite surf but it's nice to just sit by the shore and watch the kites gliding in the air. Very breezy. Chill atmosphere. Friendly dogs roaming.Written March 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Carveen Lee RSurigao City, Philippines9 contributionsIlig-Iligan Beach is highly recommended for travelers seeking a peaceful and scenic beach destination. Its natural beauty and tranquil environment offer a refreshing escape from more crowded tourist spots. While it may lack some of the amenities found in more developed areas, its charm and serene atmosphere make it a worthwhile destination for nature lovers and those in search of relaxation.Written August 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OeliramJerusalem, Israel145 contributionsWe took a tricycle to the top and then climbed about 100 steps to the lookout. The views are very nice but it's not the best spot to see the sunset because the sunset is in the north west direction of the island (shangrila area) and the Luho mount is on the east side. Also, the structure is old and not well maintained so be careful. If you go by tricycle ask the driver to wait because getting one for the way back may be difficult. Insect repellent advised. 150 peso ppWritten May 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
