- Lacey BBonn, Germany4 contributionsThis coastline is easy to access view bus route from Ito station. There is a trail along the coast which is easy to walk and has many great sites. You can see the beautiful coast, the lighthouse, and walk across a suspension bridge all within a couple of hours.Written March 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Very nice hike lots of steps and a very cool view. Also...black ice cream!! It’s just vanilla but it looks cool! Bring water to hydrate! And be prepared for lots of steps.
Took the ferry from Yokosuka and that was beautiful during sunset and there was a nice restaurant with limited but yummy options.Written May 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - lovetotravel88888888Tokyo, Japan222 contributionsWe decided to go here because it was very different from the normal touristy attractions. But let me tell you it didn’t disappoint the way it is set up is amazing. Lights set in such a way to enhance the features of each room. The place just kept going it was huge once you got underground. Please remember to take a jacket it is quite cool down there.Written February 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lacey BBonn, Germany4 contributionsAmazing view at the top! Worth it! Easy to access from Ito and especially convenient if you take the bus route offered which stops directly at the mountain.Written March 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MickToowoomba, Australia3 contributionsGot the highway bus from Tokyo, about a 2 hour trip. No issues with the e-ticket. Got fastpass for 3 rides, which saved us at least 2 and a half hours, included in the ticket. The coasters are incredible but huge lines to get on them. I went on a weekday that wasn't a public or school holiday. I'd get the bus back a bit earlier, say 5:30pm (park closes at 6pm). I got a 6pm return and lots of people waiting for buses around that time, very crowded. If you plan on getting there by bus make sure you book the bus ticket first. If you don't get a bus ticket then a park ticket isn't much use to you.Written October 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jeffry bEssendon, Australia10,431 contributionsThe Mt Okura Observatory is some way out of Sapporo, Hokkaido's main city. You can get the ropeway to the top of the mountain. You get a good view of the city and surrounding countryside. By the way, you can get to the Observatory by public transport.Written November 9, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- M.rHamburg, Germany11 contributionsI’ve been to Nagashima Spa Land twice. In my opinion it’s the best amusement park I’ve ever been. Would go a third time as well 😂
Great attractions, good snacks or food and everything is clean.

Got super windy the higher up we climbed so pack some layers. Overall was awesome and very doable for all climbers. Pretty cool to stand on the tallest peak in JapanWritten January 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- The-FariasRamstein-Miesenbach, Germany829 contributionsAwesome place to come visit for snorkeling and or diving. Unseated is neat and you can really take in the beauty. There is also some cool tunnels to get into the cave. Watch out for all the tourists they have no situational awareness.

You can walk around on the cliffs themselves and there are some great places for pictures. There are also some nice walking paths so you can get a little exercise while enjoying the view.Written September 23, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- kosmar01Barcelona, Spain88 contributionsFirst time here after inly visiting Niseko. If you are looking fir very challenging slopes, then Happo One is the best in Japan. It feels very special skiing down the Downhill slope from top and you shall stop a higher mid right side abs only remember Hermann Maier crash in 1998. You can see that everybody on all slopes ski very well abs this is no room for any beginners at all. You feel like in the Alps with similar vegetation and stunning Mountain views. The downside is the chairlift and gondolas are 40+ year old abs there has been 0 investment in the facilities. Ski lift prices 20% cheaper vs Niseko.

A gondola, a ropeway and nine other lifts. Many runs to chose from, most of them are wide and well groomed. Staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful. A hand full of places to eat and many shops for rentals and apparel. Best of all it the view.Written March 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Andy SAdelaide80 contributionsWe stayed in Toyama for 5 days and this was one of our many day trips. Its starts with the ride on the train from Toyama (Dentetsu Toyama Station) and note JR Rail Pass does not cover this or any of the transport options in this trip. The train takes you all the way to Tateyama, about 60 minutes. The scenery is stunning from the train windows particularly as you get closer to Tateyama. I loved the stops we made at the local stations some of which appear to be original wooden structures. At Tateyama you purchase a ticket for the next stages of your journey. We choose a return trip to Murodo Station which is one of many stops along the alpine route. Once the ticket is purchased you then jump onto the cable way that drags you up the mountain. At the end of the cable way you hop onto buses that then take you to Murodo. We were here in late November and much of the Autumn leaves had gone although there are splashes of colour. However we had snow in the morning and blue skys for the rest of the day so Murodo was stunningly beautiful. There is a smell of sulpher in the air from the volcanic action in the area and gushes of steam. There are many walks in the are ranging from easy to difficult, particularly
if you want to access the shrine at the top of Mt Tateyama. You could spend the whole day here. Note that we had a sunny day so things will be different if its fogged in or raining. There is a restaurant at Murodo. We left at 9am and got back to Toyama at 4:30pm. This trip is not available during the winter. I think the return trip cost us $80 AU each. To do the whole alpine route one way is about $120 AU. There is also a first class option on the train from Toyama, see photos. Toyama is a great base for a few days.Written December 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
