Although the glass wasn’t that red, it still looks kinda pretty. The park itself is very large that I couldn’t take a full walk through it

Coming back to Hiroshima from Osaka at the beginning of Golden Week here in Japan I wanted to go somewhere nice, but not so crowded and since we had never been to Awaji we decided to give it a shot. The place has a little bit of everything. You can pay 500 yen for parking and bring your picnic lunch and enjoy a nice day in their beautiful garden. For a little extra they have a botanical garden and park. You can also go fishing just across the way at Tsubasa Harbor. You can also stay at the Westin Awaji that is on site. Nice place to relax and enjoy some peaceful time with the family.

This is an enchanting place to visit over the Christmas period. There is a wonderful outdoor light show that you can walk around, and taiko performance on New Year's Eve by local Kyogaku team who play with extraordinary energy. The exhibition centre and park also lovely. Well worth a visit

    良く訪れる公園です。
    広さも散歩するのにちょうど良く、バラと紫陽花が咲く季節は見事です。
    無料の公園とは思えないほど、手入れがされています。

    I usually go out there.
The size of this park is just right for take a walk.

Depends on the season,Roses and hydrangea were amazing.

It's a well-kept the park and I can't believe this park is free.

Really big rose park, if you're a rose lover that's your place for sure. Thousands of rose variety from around the world. One of the best things is the tower to watch around the park. Totally recommend.

Enjoyed the big slider and a giant maze. If your kids like dinosaurs, there's a nice attraction there. As we don't have a car, the public transportation was bit too expensive to get there. Maybe you should stay at night too to see the lightnings otherwise it's just a big outside park.

There is a small petting zoo within the park, cannot remember how much it cost but it was very cheap. If you are visiting, its best to catch the train, as parking can be a nightmare. Overall a good day for the family!

Went there few years ago purely for flowers, this time returned with kids. Still have the amazing collection of flowers, especially roses.
Kids quickly got bored with flowers, we sent them to the water features and they enjoyed getting wet. We tried the rose flavored ice-cream before we left, it tasted a bit weird at the beginning but we finished them all. Would love to go back there at night time when kids are bigger.

Koshu Kokagesakura, Choshizuka tomb (large keyhole-shaped tomb mound) ,
Sakazukitsuka tomb (round burial mound), it overlooks the Kofu Basin and the mountains of the Southern Alps .
The cherry and peach flowering period, it can be a great way to enjoy the scenery of Xanadu.

I have been here for leisure walk in early morning and what I see a huge park, well maintained. It has 3 big grounds, a running course of 1.3 Km, various little equipment for exercise, places for picnic spot. Its really a nice for children's play during holiday time. Just 2 Km from Atsugi station.

Close to my hotel this was great for a run in the morning. Or if you would rather walk it is good for that also. With 120 odd steps to exit the park back towards Machida Station it is a good way to finish off.
The gardens would look amazing when Cherry Blossoms are in bloom. The local families enjoy this space with their kids. Within the park are large open spaces to allow for play time.
There is seating throughout the park where you can sit and reflect in the quiet. Sit beside one of the ponds & watch the carp.

There are toilets within the park also a small cafe at the southern end attached to the Museum building.

Was a great space to relax.
