The blue sky, the long bridge, the water and the sand combine to form a stunningly beautiful picture.
Long bridge and fun to drive
Walk over t he bridge, turn left to see a beautiful waterfall then a little further you can walk down steps to the river and take in all the surrounds while cooling your legs in the crystal clear water.
Just off the main road, you hike into a small valley with a delightful running stream and waterfall.

The route is cycling friendly, so look out for the cycling path up the bridge and the scene along the way is breath taking.
The bridge is part of the SHimanami Kaido, a route with seven big bridges, all with walking and cycle paths.

Akashi Kaikyo Bridge

Built in 1998 which connects Kobe to Iwaya in Awaji Island stands the longest central pan suspension bridge in the world - the Akashi Kaiyko Bridge.
Recommend getting JR day pass, ride a rapid from Himeji to Akashi, hop on a local to Maiko to see the bridge.

Many hotels, restaurants and shops open on both ends of the bridge and it affords a gorgeous view of the Oku-hotaka peak and the emerald-coloured Azusa river.
Have to visit place with beautiful scenery nature of mountain and forest, will open around April to mid Nov each year

It is an amazing piece of architecture and the view of tokyo skyline when you go over the bridge is awesome
