Gion

Kyoto
... the age old traditions by passing it down to their future generations Gion is the famous Geisha district of Kyoto, the beautiful houses, cute lanes, hues of brown takes you to the old tales of typical Japan.
Walking down the streets of Gion takes you back in time..I’ve had fun exploring the small laneways and admiring the old wooden houses and their architecture and it’s amazing to see how small some of these places are.

Kichijoji

Musashino
But what we love is the shopping arcade where Satou is and then our favorite shopping area is walk away from the subway station and the covered passageway onto a side street with houses, apartments.
The cafe here is small and crowed so go back to Kichijoji for food. There is also a really nice park with boating lake and temples on the walk to the museum.
