All of our expectations were exceeded! This was a great introduction to the intricacies of sake, and our guide Aki was an incredible sommelier that navigated us through each type and I could not recommend it more!

Going into the sake tasting session we really knew nothing about sake, but we left with an appreciation for it's history, how it's made, and the different types that lead to it's many different flavours. Nathan was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helped us identify what our favourite type of sake was so that we could find the perfect bottles to take home with us.
Thank you Nathan and Ninja Food Tours for the awesome experience!

I did the sake tour and the experience was great! Yama-san is very kind and professional in explaining the history details about the brewery and technical details of Hirase Brewery's sake brewing and he also explain about the history of Takayama town and region! i am strongly recommend Happy Plus tours to my friends!

This experience was really interesting. Knowing what I know about the karyukai, I know that these girls are not real geisha at all, but they performed really well and it was a great time. It was on par with other furisode-san experiences, if not better. I'd recommend this experience to others visiting Taito.

Very good tour. Enjoyed it, long drive but we think it was worth the drive and time to be out of Tokyo.

Good restaurant in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Japan and I was satisfied with the service for my particular request for a vegan dish.
