Uri was a terrific guide and good company. Piss Alley and Golden Gai was a good opportunity to see behind the veil of the formal Japan and visit some amazing (tiny) bars. Highly recommended.

I joined one of the events Andy organises and it was great! He took us some cool bars in Osaka and I had so much fun. Andy and all people I met were very kind and super friendly as well - I'll definitely come back next time when I'm in Osaka again!

We have happily hired Shannon Lefebvre twice for our two visits to Nagasaki. Yes, we did the usual tourist sites, but he also gives you an enjoyable glimpse of daily life in the area, including -- weather permitting -- a tasty picnic lunch and immersing your tired traveler's feet in soothing hot springs water. An excellent day trip for cruise ship passengers or other visitors to Nagasaki and vicinity.

Shout out to Tomoko-San for making this tour very easy and enjoyable. We chose to visit Kitaguchi Hongu Sengen Shrine and Itchiku Kubota Art Museum. I’m not an art person but the Kubota Art Museum was a bit nature mix with art. The kimonos were beautiful and the story is very interesting. Outside the museum is a little walk way to experience the mini forest that surrounds it. We walked by the shore and stopped for a lunch break and went to the Kitaguchi Hongu Sengen Shrine. Mt. Fuji was shy that day and was covered with clouds but we were able to see the top of it. What a beautiful sight!

I am glad Tomoko-San was with us. She explained to my friend and I what to do when you go to a shrine and translated everything for us. It would of been very difficult for us if we did not have her to help guide us. Tomoko-San is very knowledgeable and very patient with us. My friend and I took this tour the 2nd day we landed in Japan. We stayed in Tokyo and didn’t know how long the train plus the bus ride was. We were 30 mins late to meet Tomoko-San but glad she waited for us.

Tomoko-san explained the journey and history to Mt. Fuji and how the entrance is from the Kitaguchi Hongu Sensen Shrine. I am definitely interested in coming back to climb Mt. Fuji! The only regret is it wasn't a full day tour. There is definitely a lot to see with so little time.

Had a great time with my guide (Rachel) who took me to some of her favorite spots. I got to eat like a local in spots I would never have chosen on my own.

I think Sendai is not an English Speaking Friendly area, therefore have a local guide which can speak English is a better way to visit the city, We're lucky to get an Australian to be our guide since we were concerned about the accent of Japanese's English.

We loved those 2 Shiogama's local breweries, the first one owner was very warm and friendly, patient to answer our question, and kindly share the extra sparking Sake with us for tasting!

The Lunch was nice, the tea house was good either, until the end of the tour, we had 6-7 kinds of sakes. All the stores were not to hard sell to us, we had lots of hilarious conversation during the tour and also a very good time there! Fun memories! We definitely will back to Sendai in next year winter again to join the others local secret tour!
