This was honestly a highlight of our trip to Japan. The hospitality and kindness with which the absolutely fantastic crew led us through this amazing experience was unbelievably wholesome. We thought, we'd get a little sword fighting and katana swinging but we got that and so much more. It was a glimpse into the ways of the Samurai. In a house, visibly full of history we we're greeted with a stunning performance of swordsmanship accompanied by traditional music (kudos to this great shamisen player) elevating this on levels that are out of this world. Also, getting to hold a 100+ years katana and learning how to slice through stuff was of course amazing and exciting. However, this excitement may be kind of hard to grasp and therefore the perfect ending for this experience was the zen Meditation afterwards wrapping up this truly amazing experience. When we left this place we were calm, full of joy and with the feeling of understanding japanese culture a little bit better.

This was a great activity to finish our Japan trip on. The two hours flew by as we were shown how to be real life ninjas. 🥷 my family (kids 11 and 13) and I really enjoyed using all of the weapons and we all seemed to excel in a different one (mine was the low dart!) The instructors English was good and his helper was also really nice. Highly recommend.

Good fun, interactive experience with a history of Samurai and different periods in japan's history. The tour is about an hour with free time after to look at the exhibits and some good photo opportunities

This was a fun interactive experience for the family. A bit hard to find though. Look for small stairs to the right that go down. Take a taxi because signage is poor but taxi driver will help you find it like he did for us.

There are a few versions of this around japan. This one seemed a bit more unique as there was a hands-on experience for the design of the ring. The staff were friendly and explained everything well. Would recommend for a unique experience. A note that the cost of the workshop is deducted from the cost of the ring you end up choosing
