- Purnama STangerang, Indonesia66 contributionsBogor Palace is another home for the President of Indonesia besides the state palace. The president often uses the Bogor palace for state activities. Bogor Palace will be opened to the public during certain seasons.
Usually, the palace opens during the school holidays. When opened, visitors can look around and observe the contents of the palace. Usually visitors will be accompanied by a guide (school group/tour group)Written October 30, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Lina MaharaniBekasi, Indonesia8 contributionsWhen you came to Cirebon I think you have to visit this place. - Bobby SJakarta, Indonesia1,946 contributionsOne of the royal families in Solo. Well maintained palace eventhough it's not big. The guide - pak Asep - was very knowledgeable and explained every detail to us from the main pendopo to the museum that contained many royal artifacts and gifts. After museum it led to royal lady wing with beautiful garden. This area can be rented for private occasion with garden party theme. It's certainly a good experience to visit this palace that designed in javanese style and philosophy with dutch influence and overseas ornaments.Written December 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands34,486 contributionsActually this palace has a lot to tell to the tourist as well local as foreigner. There is no good management about the tourism here. The museum is almost no changing since decade. It's nice to see such beautiful Sunanate palace ( Kasunanan). The mix architecture, javanese and dutch style and decorated by the european statues scattered everywhere in the museum complex. The most interesting is the very old "Sawo Kecik" trees. You can hardly find it anywhere else in solo. Every object in this museum has meaning. It's too complicated to understand if you don't know the history of this sunanate and knowing a bit javanese culture. The palace complex area is called Baluwarti and it is surrounded by the high wall. If you have enough time, take a walk in the complex as Baluwarti has a lot of artists of painting, handicrafting, dancing and more. The most famous of this palace is the holy "Kebo Bule" ( albino water buffalo).Written June 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Destination: None62 contributionsThis is the main tourist destination in Siak. Being a remaining heritage of the Sultanate, visitors could see the history and artefacts inside. There are many other attractions in this area.Written December 27, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
