    - Lounge looks posh and more upmarket than the usual plaza premium lounges.
    - It was crowded during our visit on a Sunday afternoon.
    - There was a food section (Primo) with adequate food selection. Besides some choices for hot food, there is also a salad corner and a live food station (fishball noodles were on offer that day).
    - The bar counter area had some beverages and snacks such as doughnuts, cakes, peanuts, chips, bread, orange juice, infused water, beer and wine.

The Chase Sapphire Lounge is a new addition to HK International Airport, and since Chase has no presence in Asia, is largely used by Amex and Plaza Premium members.

Unlike the Plaza Premium and Centurion lounge, which are often overcrowded, Chase Sapphire seems to be largely unknown and was operating at approximately 20% capacity.

The bar is well stocked and the food consists of both an al la carte menu and a self serve buffet. While neither compare to Cathay lounges, both are perfectly adequate, and certainly superior to what you would find in other airports.

Unlike Centurion, Chase sapphire has fully reclining lounge chairs, and is a viable option to work in or relax for a few hours.

A welcome addition to the PP family

The feeling in the lounge is claustrophobic as it's dark and small crowded and noisy. Food is ok, good selection medium quality. Showers are mouldy. At some point (after shower) there was literally no sit available. Reception kept accepting more people in. After complaining manager said he won't refund cause I've stayed over an hour already. To move to the other lounge at gate 40 I had to pay again. Overall not the worst lounge but far from the best.

The lack of toilets. Everything else is great! The toilets themselves are excellent, clean, wide and with their own washing basins. Lounge is ample. Cocktail bar with a lovely barman snd great signature drinks, albeit a poor choice of single malt. Food is gorgeous, small portions, super civilised. The dan dan mien is to kill for. But also worthwhile to visit the buffet. Ultra comfortable. Just need more toilets. Jot nice to line up for only five.

Basic need is a comfortable seating. This place has exceedingly bad seating from a comfort point of view. If you are travelling with young children, stay away from this place. Reception staff is very good. Absolutely a waste of money. If you are a regular traveller, avoid this place at any cost.

The rooms either face the airplanes (where you hear the planes and all auxiliary carts with loud sires) or face inwards (where you hear someone clashing and clattering the dishes nonstop all night long). I started with a room facing the airplanes, then asked to move because of the noise and had to endure the kitchen noises instead. The room is comfortable and you can lay down horizontally, but it does not have a bed.
