I was traveling for business and was happy to be able to take advantage of seeing this gem. It was well worth the time. I would recommend this to anyone interested in visiting the Big Buddha, seeing the magnificent temple, and experiencing the history of the 500 year Tai O village. If you get lucky as I did, you may even spot the rare pink dolphins during your boat ride (which does require an additional nominal fee from a local boat service). THIS is the way to do HK.
We rode tram, metro, ding dings, bus and ferry. No traffic, directions or parking headaches. Transit included in price, so no tickets to worry about either. Took us to locals only place for dim sum that we would have never found,amazing fruit market, in addition to Victoria Peak, Man Mo temple, nunnery, mid level escalators, great mid day sweet treat shop, Took really good care of us as my wife broke her elbow right before we left home. Andy born in HK, but went to University of California at Berkeley (Go Bears!) like my niece so we had lots to talk about. Good history info and nice balance of info on life in HK.
We paid for 8, stayed with us almost 9 to make sure we got on right subway back to hotel. Been on many subway around the world, but this system is beyond believe. And Jack was very accommodating.
Also, Jack is very familiar with the streets of Hong Kong! He took us to the local streets, showing local lifestyle, and local food! What an immersion. The tour brought us to a diversity of places all off them very intersting. Stephanie had some great recommendations on how to spend the afternoon after the tour was finished.

Stephanie took us on a lovely walking tour of parts of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island introducing us to things we'd never have otherwise known about. Her pace was comfortable and her knowledge impressive. Best of all, it was just the four of us so we didn't feel like we were being herded in a crowd. She kept three seniors active and so interested we forgot all about missing Lantau. Thanks Stephanie! Shenzhen was farmland not long ago and in 30 plus years became the 3rd largest city in China, with the second most skyscrapers in the world with the 5th tallest building in the world, and a bullet train to Hong Kong which takes a mere 13 minutes. Jacky expertly guided us on a full day of exploration of this new modern city. Once we arrived via train from Hong Kong, we chose to walk from one site to the next but if we were not up for the walking, Jacky could have ferried via taxi. We explored lively open air markets, massive underground malls, a flower festival at Lianhuashan Park, the Civic Center and 2 observations decks including the Ping A building that have 360 views of this impressive city.
We highly recommend this tour with Jacky and his company, This Is Asia Tour. Jacky is very knowledgeable and customized the tour to our interests.
