    The views are breathtaking!
..but nothing is better than having amazing, kind and friendly guide!
Joy from Mubus is out of this world!
She helped me to reach meeting point as I was lost and running late, she explaining my taxi driver though the phone where exactly to go and waited for me 🫶 same at the end when I was struggling with ordering taxi, she arranged everything and waited for me to get into taxi safely!
Joy has fantastic personality, funny and interesting to listen to, super helpful and going beyond and above.
    Angel on earth 🤗

It’s a large park with different amazing buildings from the Ming dynasty. Suring summer very busy with Chinese tourists but really worth a visit and climb up the hill!

Very recommended if you want to explore a sophisticated mixture of traditional Qing architecture and a peaceful natural environment. Lots of fascinating temples and palaces to explore and it's a bit time-consuming as well as physically demanding cause the park is enormously big

Park behind the Forbidden City where can see a fabulous bird eye view of the Forbidden City and the old city of Beijing (2nd ring road) in the south, in the east, there is a fascinating cityscape with the beautifully crafted Beijing modern skyline encompassing loads of skyscrapers. You can also see the Beijing central axis from the southern position of Yongdingmen (gate of Perpetual Peace) to the north (Olympic Tower), a very impressive and memorable (don't expect a light show in the forbidden city since there are fire safety hazards)

very nice to stroll there. beautiful things in every corner. and hutongs all around. some palaces to go in to like prince gong, bars in evening, boats, carriage rides and pedestrian streets with souvenirs. can combine with nanluoguxiang and yandai xi pedestrian streets as they are within walking distance.

I thought the whole place was ok really, the admission cost was very affordable - change from a tenner if you take the average family of four!

As zoos go, I have seen better, Berlin is probably the best, but also a lot lot worse - including in Britain! I certainly didn’t see any distressing sights, and I think people have to get off their high horse if you’ll excuse the pun…..

Let’s be clear, all any animal ever really does is eat, sleep, fight, defecate and copulate, so I would relate most of what people claim to have seen to those 5 natural behaviours - if an animal has a wound, chances are he started a fight with another of his species and lost, exactly what would also happen in the wild.

My only complaint is that the aquarium is so expensive compared to the zoo, but we did it and thought it was absolutely first class - especially the Jellyfish exhibits and the whale.

Overall impression: Good day out, very affordable. Would do it again in a year or so.

I did quite a bit of research and settled on visiting this section of the Great Wall and I'm so glad I did! It's a beautiful stretch that looks barely touched, with a raw sense of beauty with it. The walls are just ankle deep, and the hike up is really steep and uneven. It's not recommended for those with knee problems or mobility issues. It's high up with a view of mountains and small town in the backdrop. The stretch between 6th to 8th guard post are recommended for trail. Truly a beauty to behold.

If you enjoy walks and pretty gardens, then this is a good place to visit.

The grounds are huge and it will take at least 3 hours to do it justice. We came in winter and there were very few visitors as most would opt not to be in the outdoors.

One of the highlights was the fact that the lake was frozen and it gives off a different kind of charm.

To get to the site of the ruins, it is a 2.5 km walk from the entrance to the site.

It’s a nice park with plenty of trails and temples to check out. It’s a 2500m hike to the top with nice views of the city and Summer Palace along the way. There is also a chair lift if you’re looking for an easier option.

It's located within the zoo, so you must first purchase zoo entrance tickets. Then separate entrance tickets at the aquarium.
There are lots of souvenirs, food, drinks, toilets here.
Pretty nice displays. There is a marine mammal show. I missed most of it, caught end. Looked entertaining. Go for this for sure.
    The fossils were neat.
Overall pretty clean but one word sums up the displays...overcrowded.

There’s no doubt that this place has seen better days, but the boat ride along the gorge and the hike up to the viewpoint definitely make it worth the trip from Beijing.

The day I went the dragon escalator was working. The cable car and toboggan was not going. It was raining, so that might of been a factor. There is also a place to bungee jump, it was only 260RMB if you are feeling brave. We had lunch just outside the main gate, it was delicious and cheap.

At the end of your tour of the Forbidden City, you come across this imperial garden with its plants and rock garden. We stopped here to rest our tired legs before we exited from the back of the Forbidden City.

Very beautiful well cultivated park. It doesn't really exhibit a forest feeling, but that of a qell manicured green resting place. It is very quiet, open and welcoming.

We got re-energized by exercising and having a jog in the park on this cool-weather, 12C, sunny October day.

We enjoyed viewing the flowers as they are blooming and the calm clear waters of the lake. Not crowded during our weekend visit. Over 8,000 different tropical and subtropical plants and flowers. Lots of trails for walking and hiking.
