The park is only open for 1 hour a day to minimalize interaction between the elephants and humans. As they are still so young they have to be fed every 3 hours. A warder sleeps with them every night, but so they do not become attached, they have a different warder every night! After about 3 years they are taken to Tsavo East and walked daily with herders until they find an adoptive family.
They also had Rhinos but we could not see them as they were too young.

Whilst there are animals wanting to be fed in the distance there are other Giraffes that are just eating in the woods. They come for food.
As part of the reasonable entry fee they give you 1/2 a coconut with pellets that you place on the Giraffe's tongue. There is a ramp that least up to the feeding area so the big Giraffes bend down and the little ones stretch up!
They are so gentle but there are signs saying they can butt. Warthogs and other animals just roam around!

What a place I'd say this place is not forgetting it's the only National Park in the heart of Nairobi City and also the only park inside a city with a Safari drive

A very surprising visit and you will learn the life of someone who has done so much for Kenya and after who so many places today are named. Wonderful surroundings to relax too.

Excellent moment of relaxation in Tigoni location. I will definitely come back. The refreshment, people, view, Fig and Oil nearby, all was perfect. I took lava shell massage and a facial, lave shell was excellent.

    I entered weary.
A traveler, burdened not by the weight of the world but by the strain of my own making. The steps I had taken, the miles I had walked, the flights that had carried me across continents—all had left their signatures upon me. My back, a ledger of tension. My legs, weary as an old song. My shoulders pulled tight as the strings of a violin long played but never tuned.
And so I came to her.
    Marion.
Her name, a whisper of strength. Her hands, the architects of relief. She did not ask where the pain resided. She knew. She did not seek permission to heal. She simply began.
At Kempinski The Spa – Nairobi, Kenya, I had come for a deep tissue massage, not knowing it would be a reckoning between my body and the years of weight it carried.
Her palms, firm as truth, found the knots buried deep beneath my skin. She pressed, and my body recoiled, reluctant to surrender. I clenched my teeth, foolish in my resistance, but Marion knew—oh, she knew.
“Breathe,” she said, voice low as river water moving through stone.
    And so I did.
With each breath, I traveled deeper. I met the aches that had taken residence in my shoulders. The stubborn pain that curled in my lower back. The stiffness in my calves that held memories of distances crossed, of sidewalks conquered, of roads wandered in pursuit of something unseen.
Marion’s fingers pressed deeper, seeking the hidden burdens I had carried too long. And Lord, did they protest. They flared, they resisted, they cried out for their right to remain. But she was unshaken, and so she worked.
She kneaded my pain into surrender.
She pulled at the tension woven into my sinews until it unraveled like thread from an ancient loom. And when her hands reached the space where stress and spirit meet, I let go.
My body—so long a prisoner of strain—yielded to the softness of release. My muscles, once clenched in a ceaseless fight, uncurled like petals meeting the morning sun. My breath, no longer caught in the net of tension, moved freely once more.
And when at last, the work was done, I stood.
    Lighter.
    Freer.
Whole in a way I had forgotten was possible.
And so, I raised a glass to life, to healing, to the knowing hands of Marion. The champagne, golden as a late-day sun, kissed my lips, and I smiled.
    For I had come burdened.
    And yet, I had risen.

This was our second time with this safari company. We did a three day, two night trip to Tsavo East and West. The booking experience was excellent with Lilian very thorough. Our guide, Abdul, was outstanding finding lions for us on our first and second days. Absolutely superb.

Where do I start….. an absolutely amazing experience with the best guide there is. Ian was incredible, we had the best 4 days with him on the game drives. So knowledgable about the towns, surrounding areas, the animals, where to find them and his driving skills are unreal! We had a great time on this adventure, starting in Maasai Mara, moving to Lake Nakuru with a few extra stops along the way. We saw the big 5 and Ian made sure our experience was the best. We felt super safe with him, we made a friend and felt sad when he dropped us off at the end of our trip. Highly recommend this company for your African Adventure and if you get Ian….. well be ready to feel a part of you has gone when he drops you off at your final destination. Thank you for the best 40th Birthday anyone could wish for.

Wow! The experience of a lifetime made possible by JT Safaris and our guide Joseph! We spent 3 days/2nights in the Masai Mara. From Pick up to drop off we had the most amazing experience! Saw the big 5 in the Masai Mara, spent time with the local Masai and learnt sooo much about the animals the culture, the history! Joseph went above and beyond to enable us to see all the animals that form the “Big 5”. He wanted to know what we wanted to see and worked so hard to make it happen! His knowledge of the area, the animals is extremely impressive! Thank you thank you thank you!! We will be back to do other Parks too!! Would highly recommend this company!!

Joel at Perfect Wilderness Safaris was very accommodating and helpful. We called last minute the afternoon before to arrange a game drive in Maasai Mara and Joel delivered. Our guide, Phillip, was knowledgeable, timely, and efficient. What we appreciated the most was their professionalism and very quick responses.

The safari was so well planned, the accommodations were great and Daniel was a amazing guide, he knows all the parks really well and he is a professional when it comes to find the best sight spots either for wild animals or scenery. He sets the bar really high for other safaris

Lenox with Bigfoot Adventures drove us from Nairobi to Sarova Stanley in Masai Mara and back. He was very safe on the road and we enjoyed the entire trip.

The cruiser had charging ports and Lenox also supplied drinking water in the cruiser in the cup holders at each seat.

Our game drive was excellent and we enjoyed the breathtaking views. We saw many lions (including cubs), cheetah, giraffe, elephants, buffalo, zebra, ostrich, and many more animals.

We loved our family adventure and hope to return one day.

Our trip has been absolutely brilliant. The whole experience was top quality and very enriching.
We had prime sightings of all kinds of animal behaviour and scenes. The Masai guides are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fun. The staff in the camps are amazing, the level of hospitality is very high. And the meals are top cuisine!
As you can read above, we have been treated so well and spoiled with a cherry on top :-)
If we come back to Africa, we will definitely book with Game Watchers again.
Congratulations to the whole team for making this an unforgettable experience for us

My wife and I just finished our 2 week holiday in Kenya. We used Gracepatt for a 9 day safari as well as a day tour from Nairobi and airport transfers coming and going. Communication before our trip with Grace in the office was always clear and prompt. Our transfers and day tour went smoothly and pick up were punctual.
On our safari we visited 6 parks and reserves and Grace was flexible in allowing us itinerary and accommodation options when we were planning.
On safari our guide Titus, went out of his way to provide a great experience and see and photograph all the animals we could have hoped for and more. Additionally he was great at finding animals and was an experienced and excellent driver to boot, which is truly important once you see what Kenyan roads are like.
All the accommodations were comfortable and…. This was key for us….we had the entire Toyota Land Cruiser to ourselves. While we saw similar vehicles packeked with up to 6plus people, we had the luxury to spread out, stop and go as we wanted, and had lots of space to get in positions to take photographs as my wife and I are keen photo bugs. All this for what I thought was a very reasonable price. So I highly recommend Geacepatt for your Kenyan travel needs.
