- Anonymous855Trabuco Canyon, California1,656 contributionsYou should be somewhat "fit" to tackle the circuit as it is often quite muddy and can be quite slippery going up and down the steps along the way to the waterfall & caves. We are older but regular walkers and managed it fine with caution. I loved the forest canopy and although it was a Sunday and a holiday, the crowd was moderate. Don't wear shoes you want to protect! There were lot of butterflies and an occasional bench. We used the bathrooms at the cafe but I saw there was one available near the waterfall (unsure about condition or if open). - Sagal A1 contributionI showed up at the Village Market branch of Kitengela glass 5 mins before closing time - I was desperate, was flying out that same night to a wedding and hadn’t gotten a gift yet. Martha Sarafina was patient, kind and beyond helpful. She helped me make choices and then packed them all up for me. So so patient and sweet. She kept the store open an extra 45 mins. Thank you Martha! Thank you Kitengela Glass - I’m a huge fan. Gordie, Felicia and their whole team have created the ultimate experience for anyone who loves nature and riding and also have discriminating taste. They considered every detail and then some; from how the trip unfolded, the day to day conveniences, meals that magically appear out in the middle of the bush, the quality of the horses, and the thoughtful, fun and accommodating team of people. Every trip I take from now on, will be compared to this one. Benjamin was accommodating and patient while we planned our trip. He was always available to answer our endless questions and give valuable advice. He helped to create a great itinerary for our trip.
The trip was a wonderful lifetime experience. Our guides (Daniel and Peter) went above and beyond in making sure that we seen all and even hard to see and rare animals and birds. Their knowledge of animals, nature, and local people made our trip very educational and unforgettable. Thanks to Peter's six senses and patients we have even seen zebra and wildebeest migration from Tanzania to Kenya. That was something to watch! Not only because it was amazing to see all the wildlife, but mostly because Rakesh is a fantastic guide. He told me all about the wildlife, how to track them, some of the local stories and myths about certain animals. The hours we biked together flew by as we discussed everything from culture to travel goals. I cannot recommend Baiskeli Adventures enough.
My plans changed last minute because of some unrest in Nairobi, but they still managed to squeeze in a bike ride for me only a couple of days in advance.
This bike ride will for ever be one of my favourite memories from Kenya. I'm not really a mountain biker, but I think I have to become one now just so I can come back and go on many more rides.

Followed through during our travel and she was even accessible at odd hours in the morning ( she didn't have to but she did) to ensure our trips were smooth. It's difficult to find people who care, Her big picture is making sure you have the best experience and we did. Magdalene was available all through to respond to all our many questions. We will miss Johnstone and kalexy, very friendly and helpful.
