We used the services of the specific agency for our first safari in Kenya lasted 4 days in Masai Mara . I felt completely safe and calm as once I booked the safari, the agency was well responding to all of my requests or infos I may needed through what's up.
They were waiting for us in the airport to drive us in a hotel next to the company's office where we could freshen up before the beginning of our safari early in the morning .Also one of the best highlights of our trip was the driver of our jeep named David Capino( I hope I remember well his name). He did everything in his power for us to see more animals as close as it gets and also had a great knowledge in the African birds .We would pick him again if we return in Kenya ! Many thanks to Trav-Interactive agency for creating a great safari experience for us !

Our tour with African Adventure Specialists was arranged by 2 BY 2 Holidays.
We have done 5 Safari Holidays in total and this rated as one of the very best. Our guide, Fred, was wonderful. Ever helpful, considerate, knowledgeable and provided us with transport throughout our 2 weeks in a safe and responsible manner. The wildlife we saw was unsurpassed in any of our previous experiences. Faultless.

Thank you, HERITAWI SAFARIS, for an unforgettable Safari experience at Tsavo East! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Our safari driver was incredibly knowledgeable about the park and so patient, especially with the children, making the trip even more special.

The game drives were nothing short of amazing, we were lucky enough to see elephants, lions, giraffes, impalas, and so much more. The kids had an absolute blast and created memories that will last a lifetime.

I also loved the view at Voi Safari Lodge. The skyline is beautiful 😍.

Asante sana, HERITAWI SAFARIS for an experience we will cherish forever! Highly recommended!

    General experience was incredible!

Chris, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and told us all about the animals we saw, it was fun and educational. He had amazing stories and an infectious energy which made the whole day memorable

The full day experience was great, getting to see the animals in Nairobi National
Park was so cool and the two facilities(Sheldrick Trust Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Centre) was really special. Commuting from/to each location was so quick and easy.

The booking experience was smooth and simple and Grace, the organizer, was constantly communicating with us leading up to and on the day of the experience.

It was a great option if you only have a day to dedicate to a safari and it was good value for your money. We only had a day and half in Nairobi and it was a perfect way to get a taste of the beauty that Kenya has to offer.

Really liked the fact that it was pick up/ drop to your place of accommodation, very convenient to not have to meet the guide somewhere

Overall would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a quick, easy to book, memorable experience.

I did the full day tour and it was well worth the time and money. The full morning (plus some) was in the Nairobi National Park. The driver was great in spotting animals and kept in contact with other drivers to make sure we saw lions.

The lunch spot was empty due to lack of tourists during covid. The food was fine but limited choices.

The giraffe center wasn’t what I expected and could have been skipped. More fun for those traveling with kids.

The dancers at the Bomas Center were good and it was interesting to see all the different dances and attire. I wish the driver had told me about the villages. I missed that part and did find out about it until after the tour.

We had an amazing experience in Kenya with our guide Daniel. Stayed 2 nights in masai mara and another night in lake elementia. Our guide Daniel was brilliant! He looked after us and drove us around the masai mara and for the 4 days. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was so knowledgeable as he's been doing this over 20 years so we saw all the animals. I thoroughly recommend africa 220!

I was first introduced to Affable Tours and Hosking Agoi in August of 2022, thru a family friend and returned again in August of 2023. I enjoyed both experiences, same friend, different travelers.
This year I returned again in October and this time, with my own small group of 2 and was again very happy to have Agoi as our guide. I can't say enough about the experience with Agoi and Affable Tours. He made sure we were comfortable, informed and having a good time. His knowledge of his country, its history, the animals and birds, the geography and all things Kenya is superb. His kindness stands out, making the trip an amazing experience. When I say kindness, this includes kindness towards his clients as well as all the other people he deals with on our travels. He was great to work with to complete an itinerary I was happy with.
I wanted to add Tanzania (game drives) and Zanzibar to my trip and Agoi was able to make that happen. Everything was set up according to our plan. My group flew to Zanzibar for 3 days then back to Nairobi and more game drives in Samburu, Kenya. We enjoyed Tanzania, (had a Tanzanian driver and Agoi) but I don't think I'll return to Zanzibar (it wasn't my cup of tea).
Agoi's many contacts and skills as a businessman helped make this trip, not only amazing but eye-opening as well. The plight of the Kenyan people is nothing short of sad. It brings tears to my eyes. I'm amazed by their resilience and tenacity to keep positive and determined to survive despite their living conditions and I'm sure some feelings of helplessness.
I will be planning another trip(s), hopefully bringing along others to share in this experience, I will not hesitate to connect with Agoi and Affable Tours for my future trips.

The accommodations, food, and general treatment provided by this horrible company were horrific to say the least. None of the list of accommodations were ever fulfilled and places we were promised to visit were never fulfilled. The food was all but inedible. The vehicles were so old and beat up that there virtually was no padding or support in the seats. Our trip was scuttled 2/3 of the way through and the company refused to refund us for money that we lost because of their negligence. This is but a scant overview of what can be expected. Buyer beware. Any good reviews of this company most likely came from them not anyone who paid for their services. They are scam artists.

We had an excellent experience with booking our Tanzania and Kenya safari trip with Tearan Adventures.
Jackline has been a great help in suggesting the plan, stay and safaris for us. Right from the vehicle provided through the journey to our driver/guide, Julius in Tanzania to Peter in Kenya, our trip was exhilarating and memorable because of the overall experience with Tearan Adventures.
Thank you Tearan Adventures so much for this adventure of a lifetime.
    I highly recommend your services
We will be back again soon :)

I always thought booking through a tour agent would be expensive, but Family Leisure Africa Safaris completely changed my perspective. They offered incredible rates while taking care of all the details, making the entire process effortless for me. Their service is top-notch and exceptional value for money. I highly recommend them to anyone who hasn’t had their travel needs met in a while. With #FamilyLeisureAfricaSafaris, you’re covered—anytime, any place.

We had a great holiday in Kenya, also thanks to the company Journeys Beyond Africa that organised our Safari. The communication and cooperation with Simon and Edward was perfect, they were always helpful and adapted to our needs. We visited several parks and all of them were special in some way. Drivers Martin, Ben and Peter were amazing, kind, funny and patient. Big thanks to everyone.

Jan 2025 - 9 day tour for two from the UK:

    - Nairobi/national park & elephant orphanage
    - Maasai Mara - Sopa Lodge
    - Lake Nakuru - Sopa Lodge
    - Lake Navaisha/Hells Gate - Sopa Resort
    - Amboseli
    - Back to Nairobi

    Summary:

We really wanted to provide a comprehensive review of our Kenyan safari tour with Afrikan Accent Adventures (“AAA”) as they without doubt made it the trip of a lifetime for us.
In summary, we couldn’t recommend more strongly that anyone looking for a safari tour operator book with AAA.
Hellen (company manager), Nico (our safari guide and driver) and Mike (guide in Nairobi) were all absolutely superb, and the service and support they provided from initial contact right through to drop off was simply first class. We feel that for such an impeccable client service, and for the time, the price provided very good value.

    Itinerary:

Hellen dedicated significant time up front to prepare a bespoke safari itinerary which was meticulously planned to tick off everything we wanted to see. Note this was done before any payment obligation so her time up front was very much appreciated. She worked hard to ensure the accommodation we wanted was all booked for us, despite us booking relatively late and some of the places were seemingly already fully booked.

You could spend a month at the places we went, but given the limited time we had Hellen managed to pack in as much as possible without overloading it, so it didn’t feel rushed.
Nico was excellent throughout at ensuring we kept to our schedule and arrived on with enough time to enjoy everything that was planned.

AAA also lined up other great tours within our itinerary: Joseph’s bike tour at Hells Gate, the Crescent Island boat tour, and the Maasai village tour.

    Communication and support:

We cannot thank Hellen enough for her outstanding customer service. She was very clear in communication throughout and responded very quickly to our initial queries (seemingly at all hours!) She answered all tour/support related queries we had before booking and throughout our tour. She worked with me on a bank transfer payment issue I had for the deposit and liaised with our first hotel to retrieve a lost kindle.
She was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Nico was extremely knowledgeable on each of the parks, and the flora and fauna at each, constantly providing info throughout. He was more than happy to answer any questions we had. He was also happy to talk to us about the culture of Kenya - the tribes, languages, politics and religion of each area we visited - which really added colour and extra interest throughout our trip.

For the avoidance of doubt, Hellen and Nico both speak very good English.

    Our guide:

Nico has been guiding safari tours for 12 years and you can tell. In addition to his excellent knowledge and communication throughout, Nico had a real knack of getting our vehicle in the right place at the right time, ensuring we were situated perfectly to see animal crossings, get as close as possible (whilst being respectful of the animals) and take some wonderful photos. At some of the animal spotting there can end up being a lot of vehicles on site, so AAA really impressed us with this.

    Vehicle:

It was very important that we were in a 4x4 vehicle rather than a mini bus. Hellen provided us with photos and details on the vehicle up front. On arrival it didn’t disappoint.

The vehicle was clean and well maintained - there were absolutely no issues with it dealing with the extreme terrain. It was spacious - 6 seats (though there were only 2 of us!), all the windows were big and opened easily, and the pop up roof was great.

Some of the roads can be extremely rough both on safari and in transit. I occasionally suffer with a bad lower back but have to say the seats were extremely comfortable and absorbed a lot of the shocks, this was very important given how long you do sit on these trips.

Note there is no air conditioning in the vehicle, but the ‘African air con’ (opened windows) generally kept us cool enough.

    Cost:

We were looking for a mid range tour, staying in lodges throughout.

AAA were very competitive with the price quoted for the overall tour and we feel they provided exceptional value for money. Whilst we can’t comment on other tour companies, we can’t imagine that they would have been able to provide an improved service, and some of them quoted a significantly higher price for a similar length mid range trip.

    Company Name:

When initially contacting and booking we had noticed that there was a discrepancy with the company name ‘Afrikan Accent Adventures’ and the name on some of the review sites. Hellen informed us that this is simply due to the difficulty they have faced trying to change the name on these sites since she went full time with her business. Please do not be put off by this, and we hope Hellen can get this sorted as soon as possible as it would be a real shame if this put some people off from having an otherwise wonderful experience with AAA.

    Extras:

They think of everything! Early morning starts can be quite chilly so a customised Maasai shuck (blanket) was provided to each of us. Likewise it gets very hot and sunny during the day, so they also provide a good quality safari hat.

They are very environmentally conscious, so provided us with customised metal bottled and ample water. It was handy that our names were on the metal bottled provided to avoid confusion between who’s was who’s.

Hellen also went above and beyond to make our trip extra special by arranging a special surprise for my partner’s 30th birthday in the lodges. This also resulted in us receiving room upgrades.

Nico even went to the effort of meeting us back at Nairobi airport late at night to give us back a couple of souvenirs that security had taken off of us the week before at the train station security when our tour with AAA ended. A big effort that was greatly appreciated.

Thanks again Hellen, Nico and Mike for everything and best of luck. We very much hope to see you again.
