Our family of 4 had an amazing time on our first African Safari with Explorer Wild Adventures guided by Zachary. We were very well accommodated by the company with activities throughout the 6 day safari in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, and Amboseli Ntnl Park. We were able to see every single animal in the areas except for the leopard which is notoriously difficult to spot. But Zachary is clearly very skilled and was highly enthusiastic about teaching us about the animals and African culture. He was very flexible with us and is very knowledgeable about the parks. We highly recommend Zachary to people who are also enthusiastic about the safari. The housing situations were good with a large tent in Masai Mara, a resort room in Lake Nakuru, and a large cabin/tent in Amboseli. The food was quite decent in the camps and hygiene was always top notch in the camps. Each tent/cabin had its own toilet, shower w/ hot water, sink, beds, mosquito canopies. Be prepared for a VERY bumpy ride as roads in the parks and the more rural areas are not well kept. However, the drive overall was quite fun. Thank you so much for making our safari trip so special Explorer Wild Adventures and Zachary!!

Wonderful experience!! Bula was our guide for the duration, and he showed us all the animals, including a pride of 6 lions. He was a great guide. The stays at the 2 lodges and the food was excellent. The drive to the park from Mombasa is about 3 hours, so we were happy to book the safari for multiple days. A one-day safari would have been difficult. The only negative I encountered was the ceiling fan in the Tsavo lodge which was ineffective due to the mosquito netting, so the first night was hot and sweaty and very little sleep. On the way back we had time to stop at a small Masai village which was awesome.

I had a really wonderful time in Masai Mara. The trip was really nice, and we managed to see the wilderness of Masai. The trip guide, Dennis, was wonderful and went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience.

From the 1st interaction with Evaline from Perfect Wilderness over email everything was great she advised on the best option within our budget and time frame, adding on airport transfer and hotel accommodation in Nairobi. The 30/70 payment plan option was great. Evaline was available and communicative on our arrival checking on arrangements and keeping us updated. All the drivers/guides, vehicles and accommodations arranged as part of the package were professional and helpful. A special shout out to Nathan our driver and guide for Lake Nakuru and Amboseli who was very knowledgeable about the wildlife in Amboseli.

Great trip. We did the 3 day trip with friends after a short work event. The zebras outside of our room on check-in set mood for the Safari. Our guide Sami was terrific.

    Wonderful experience in Maasai Mara.
Thanks to our guide Dickson we saw a lot of lions, éléphants girafes etc
We were so lucky to see a cheetah hunting !! Dickson was patient enough to stay about 40 minutes because he new we will had the chance to see him hunting and that was a blast !!
We also spot a leopard, we did appreciate the experienced because of others drivers from other companies that did not respect the animal and came so close to him, even blocking him at some moments. We appreciated Dickson, cause he was happy for us to be able to spot this animal but was really respectful with him ! He has a full knowledge of the wildlife, we learnt a lot thanks to him.
Also, really trustworthy company. We pay a small amount in advance and the rest on the day of departure, they pick up us and drop off at our hotel. This all included package is really convenient and we highly recommend it !!

The most incredible trip, exceeded expectations. Not only did we see so many animals but Paul took such good care of us, entertaining us, answering our questions, and doing his utmost to fulfil our dreams! From pick-up Friday to drop-off Saturday, communication was excellent and I felt safe and well looked after. Plenty of food, water, and the accommodation was even better than I could’ve thought. I joined the trip solo but met great people :)
10/10 would go again, hopefully with the same driver!

The whole trip was incredible, start to finish! We saw some incredible scenes and witnessed some beautiful animals in their natural habitats. Our tour guide Peter made the experience that much better, can see how passionate he is about his job and is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this trip and will definitely be pointing people in this direction.

Being a solo traveler, and on my first safari trip, I was anxious to say the least. But there was no need, as Henry and they team put all my worries at ease from the booking process, right through to the final day!

I went for the 6 day Safari, visiting Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, finishing at Masai Mara. For the first 4 days, my driver Johson was absolutely fantastic. I was simply amazed at his knowledge of both his country and the animals that can be found, answering any and all questions I fired at him. He also had exceptional eye sight, managing to spot the smallest of animals from what seemed to be a mile away. The game drives around Amboseli, and Lake Nakuru where an absolute joy - where he simple knew where to place the vehicle to get the best view/ photos of the animals, this payed off as it resulted in a pride of lions walking directly towards us at one point.

Unfortunately the vehicle we where using had to return to Nairobi half way through the trip, for its annual checkup. Johnson had to return also - however Henry had personally organized a second vehicle to continue the safari, and attended the finals days as a guide also. These final days I was privileged to have a Maasai person as the driver (sorry I forget his name), who once again had incredible knowledge of the area - and the wildlife. On top of that, he also had clear knowledge of where the various animals could be found throughout the day - with near laser accuracy to find them.

Ended the safari with a trip to a Kenyan BBQ in Nairobi with Henry!!

I cannot recommend Dume Africa enough. Henry was available at all times, answering both E-mails and phone calls swiftly to answer any questions I had.

Would I recommend, or use in the future? 110% yes!!

Thanks for an incredible experience, and I hope our paths cross in the future!

I highly recommend Bencia Africa Adventure and Safaris. We did the 3 day Amboseli Safari and a 2 day Nairobi tour which was tailored for us by Mr. Alfred, the manager. He was easily accessible by WhatsApp and email, provided quick answers to all our questions and all the logistics went smoothly without any hitches.
We had a good time, and his drivers/guides were punctual and polite.
We are very pleased with the service and got good value for money.
    Thank you Bencia!

We thoroughly enjoyed our safari that took us from Nairobi into Tanzania. We visited the Maasai Mara National Reserve where highlights included seeing majestic giraffes and elephants, a lion with its kill, beautiful zebra and the wildebeest migration.

We crossed into Tanzania and explored the Serengeti where we saw more amazing animals including a leopard, cheetah, hippos and prides of lions.

We also visited Ngorongoro Park and the Ngorongoro Crater where we saw a rhinoceros grazing in the distance. We also visited Lake Manyara and enjoyed seeing the baboons that live there.

The sites we stayed at were comfortable and the food was delicious. They were able to accommodate dietary restrictions which was appreciated.

Our guides Robert and Nelson were very attentive, and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the animals, the parks and lakes that we visited. Our shuttle driver Issac also shared interesting information about the animals we had seen and the Maasai culture.
