Mwose my tour guide was excellent. It was a completely personalised experience so I felt very special. The start of the tour includes an overview of the history of Nairobi all while taking in the magnificent view from the top of the Kenyatta convention centre helipad. The beads factory was fantastic. So wonderful to see something which is helping to benefit an entire community of women. Mwose was so flexible throughout the afternoon continually checking on my preferences and adjusting the itinerary accordingly. I know most people coming to Nairobi will go for a safari tour but I would highly recommend also doing this tour if you have more time to spare and want to see another side to Nairobi .

My friends and I had an incredible experience with Kelvin, our wonderful tour guide! From punctual pick up and a clean and comfortable transport vehicle to taking us to a variety of cultural shopping destinations (artisan shops, bead making, crystals & more), Kelvin was so accommodating, allowing us to take our time to browse each shop. He went above and beyond, letting us stop for lunch and taking us to a local grocery shop before dropping us home though these pit stops were not part of the itinerary. He made our first day in Nairobi an unforgettable one. If you’re looking for a unique experience with a kind and affable tour guide, I’d stop your research here!

Obed is a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, with excellent English skills and just is a pleasure to be around.

A highlight of our shopping experience was our visit to Kobe Tough beads. A group of very talented women from disadvantaged backgrounds working to earn a wage. We were guided around the premises and saw how they handmade their gorgeous beads. Afterward, the ladies all sang and danced for us in appreciation of our purchases from them. Obed took videos for us when were asked to join in with them. A wonderful memory for us.

Obed made sure we had a fun day shopping for all the souvenirs we wanted to bring back for family and friends. I would highly recommend him for your shopping experience when you are in Nairobi.

The tour exceeded my expectations - Irene was an amazing guide and completely customized the tour based on our needs and asks. We went to a women's co-op which was a highlight for me as I enjoy supporting those types of businesses. She took us to feed giraffes and shepherded us through a hectic downtown environment flawlessly and we did everything we wanted to do and more. Cannot stress enough how awesome she was and how much we enjoyed the day! We plan to book her again for next January!

Living 30 years in South Africa, this was the worst "safari"I have ever been on! The 1st "game drive" was 50 km/h speeding from spot A to B. The "tour guide" drove past kudus, impalas, ostrich, Thompson's,hartebeest. If one guest wouldn't have asked to stop at giraffe/ elephants, we would have driven past them too. Per radio he was told about 2 lions and we stopped. He couldn't see them and I had to point out to him/guests. Sometimes he would laconically offer info: here eland. Nothing about the park, the animals etc. When people asked questions, he didn't know the answer. He ID 2 birds sitting in a branch next to car as tawny eagles - they were clearly Bateleurs. His excuse was that it was against the sun. I really felt for the three people being on their first African safari ! The vehicle had trash from previous trip and was not cleaned btw our drives either (lots of water bottles in the car). On the way back we had 3 bottles btw the 6 of us which were hygienically still floating in the warm water from day before. Never been on such an unprofessional tour in my life. The cherry on the top was that they refused to drop me off at my pickup point; after I indicated that I could take a tuktuk instead of a taxi back (to safe the company money). They conveniently read that such that I would pay for that, while drop off is included in their package price. Pathway Safaris? Pathetic Safaris!
