The guides were fantastic, took us on a game drive early in the morning, saw giraffes, zebras, a family of lions, and more. The main guy was an expert and gave lots of information on the animals. They also took us to the elephant orphanage after the game drive, the elephants were adorable. I must say though my favorite part of the day was the giraffe center, where they let you feed the giraffes! Our guide knew an expert at the giraffe center, and he gave us lots of guidance and made sure we all had good pictures and vidoes to show of us with the giraffes. Great day I would reccomend!

Saw so much. Guide was really pushing the limits to ensure we saw everything. Was physically exhausted by the end. Accommodation fine but no upmarket safari Lodge, but then this isn't that sort of tour.

Traveling, especially internationally with a family, can be stressful.  Valley Rocks Tours made everything so easy and stress free.  They arranged all of our hotels, activities, transportation, and even dinner reservations.  All we had to do was show up.  We had greeters at the airport, individuals to help us with our luggage, and drivers to our hotels as well as to and from all of our activities.  They had a day by day itinerary printed for us so we knew where we were going, what time we were being picked up, and what we needed to bring/wear for each activity.  Everyone that they contracted with were professional, pleasant, and dependable. This included the drivers as well as the sites for our activities.  The hotels were amazing!  Restaurant recommendations were superb! All of our activities were amazing.  Individuals from our travel agency checked in with us throughout our vacation to ensure we were doing well and gave us a 24-7 number to call if we had any issues.  Of course, we never needed to use it because the vacation ran like clock work. This was the most perfect and memorable family vacation and we have (Mr John) Valley Rocks Tours to thank for that. I would recommend them to everybody without hesitation.  I am very appreciative *To *mr John* for their time and really feel as if they treated our vacation as if they were planning it for their own family.*

We started at 5:30 am with Edwin. It was an amazing experience. Guide was telling us a lot about the animals and provided general information about the county. Good atmosphere, safe and easy going ;)

First time in Kenya. We had an amazing trip. Our guide James was nice and always open to our questions and requests. We spent a beautiful time in family. Our kids loved all the experience. We could see all the animals we expected.

Francis was an amazing and knowledgable driver for our Tsavo East Safari trip. He made sure to keep a lookout and stop for any new animals we have yet to see, or new access (closer shots) of wildlife we had already seen. He also kept communication with the other drivers so that he was able to take us to where they had seen the lions relaxing.

We did this trip during a time when the animals were not roaming as much, but Francis was able to divert our trip slightly to get closer to the animals we could find. He has a keen eye, and was able to locate animals far beyond what we could see, while he was also driving following the rules of the park (speedlimit and slowing for bumps and holes in the road).

It was a very safe and enjoyable ride.

We got to see all the main wildlife available in Tsavo East! Higly recommend!

It was just me and the tour guide this day. My tour guide Stephen was phenomenal. He slowed down for photos, assisted me with getting my ticket to the park, and took pictures and videos for me since I was alone. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide.

One thing I would like to mention that I think should be changed somehow. The price to the park is an additional fee that is mandatory because you are driving through it to get to where you’re going. If they could provide instructions on how to pay it or a link beforehand would be beneficial because the park doesn’t accept cash. Creating the account was a hassle due to the passport photo that kept zooming in on the picture and they didn’t accept certain cards. Because I wasn’t provided a link beforehand it just caused additional unnecessary stress, but thanks to Stephen it all got taken care of. Something to adjust for future tourists.

Otherwise, I had an amazing day! Would highly recommend.

I received a message at the airport, I had just arrived after a 9 hour flight, and by the time I was through immigration, transferred to the hotel and settled in, it was after midnight. The message read something like “Hello, please could we start our tour a little earlier at 04:30”, yep that was fine!

Kevin, my driver and guide was to drive me the 205km to Amboseli National Park, for a 1 day Safari, something I have always wanted to do in Kenya, famous for the big 5 (in some parks) and a selection of other amazing wildlife.

The alarm rang, well actually my other half making sure I was up, few. A quick spray of anti-Mossi, anti perspirant and sun run cream then took my anti malarial tablet (just a precaution) and before I knew it, we were off on our adventure.

The drive was interesting, I shall say no more other than Kevin was a brilliant driver, handling the Mombasa highway with such expertise, it was an experience to remember, really good fun eh Kevin 😃.

We arrived at the Amboseli Gateway just after 08:00, after a refreshment break and leg stretch. Before we even reached the park we spotted a Giraffe and Zebra “milling around”.

Al I can say is that my expectations were OVER met time and time again, having heard stories of animals being a bit shy and not showing their face, We saw Giraffe, Elephants, Zebra, Lions , Hippos, Water Buffalo and many others, I lost count of the different species we stumbled across.

Kevin’s knowledge was like an encyclopaedia of nature species and habits, it was fascinating to hear.

We stopped off for lunch at a local lodge which was surrounded by abundant wildlife, the food was of the highest quality and there was something to suit all but the fussiest of tastes.

If I were to say anything it would be book a Safari with Perfect Safaris, you may want a cushion for your rear, it was a long day and the roads are extremely bumpy, it’s amazing value for money, great fun and you will discover animals living in the natural habitat behaving as they should, like the elephant with 5 legs 😜 just completely brilliant, thank-you Kevin for getting me up so early, I am so glad I did.

Amazing trip. Our driver Samuel was the best and able to find the most rare animals in Maasai Mara. Also on the camp we were taken care off very well. The staff was very kind. Recommend it for the adventurous traveller!

The tour guide was on time, arrived with a friendly patient demeanour. He was professional and kind, well educated on the animals and gave good information throughout the safari. He was very funny, and nice to chat with. We were able to see so many animals, to name a few - Antelope, Giraffes, Rhinos, Zebras, 2 species of monkeys, guinea fouls, water buffalo’s and so much more. He’s truly passionate about his job, and he doesn’t rush to ensure you have a lovely experience. He’s the best tour guide we’ve had out in Nairobi, Kenya. This is a safari worth doing..
His name is Festus Kazungu ! Was a pleasure
